Something simple but gives you that smile on your face is this little bowl of charsiu mixed w onion n shallots drizzled w sauce on top of a bowl of warm rice. Mix it altogether and you get a simple dish that is well balanced but maybe needed a bit of pepper n more sauce.. a good side dish or as an extra or just on its own.
This gluten free lemon drizzle was the last of the six I made for the volunteers meeting. With about 5 lemons it was super delicious.
I’ve recently started listening to a new podcast called Books With Jen and this has really inspired me to read more and different books. I’m trying to break the habit of always doing pointless things on my phone and picking up a book instead. Having some days off has helped with this. Hopefully I can reinvent myself to go back to the bookworm I was when I was younger. My to be read pile certainly needs me to.
