I’ve got that Fruit Cake Feeling today. 😋😃
If you fancy a slice of this deliciously light fruity cake here’s what to do:
150g caster sugar
200g self raising flour
200g glacé cherries 🍒
Grated zest 2 lemons 🍋
25g flaked almonds
Pre heat oven to 160c/gas 3
Line 2 1lb cake tins with baking paper. Measure all ingredients apart from the almonds & mix to combine. Divide mixture between the tins & sprinkle with the almonds.
Bake for about 1 1/4 hrs, cool for 10mins before turning out. A devoted Mum wanted something extra special to celebrate her daughters Confirmation on Saturday. Handmade large white roses complimented the pastel palette with edible lace, gold leaves and berries. The design is personalised with her handpainted name and a gold cross to mark this special Sacrament. The draping satin ribbon finished this pretty cake off nicely. 🙏⛪️🎉🎂

, posto magico dove il mantra è “ tutto può avere una seconda vita”. Questa filosofia io la adoro, quindi per augurare alle ragazze un super in bocca al lupo ho pensato di preparare questa crostata con ricotta e gocce di cioccolato. Da notare i decori fatti a bottoni per rimanere in tema con la sartoria.
