As many of you know, we just had the most amazing trip along the coast of California. This is a picture from our trip. It’s a photo of a winery that we did a tasting at in Napa Valley. This castle sat on top of a hill that overlooked rows and hills of grape variations. What made our view even more spectacular was that we made it just in time to have our tasting at sunset. If you ever get the chance to go to Napa Valley we’d highly recommend @kieuhoangwinery

I like big trees and I cannot lie.
Sequoias are so dope and I wish that we had them in Toledo. Their size just reminds you of how small you actually are in this world and how amazing planet earth is.
Also, random thought. How neat of a table would this tree stump make for the holidays with family?! Sign me uuuup.
This is a season of hope and light. Are you where you wanted to be this year? Have you taken the risks that have scared you just enough to keep you moving foreword? Life isn’t about being comfortable, but it’s about being vulnerable always and accepting the fact that you need help sometimes. Lately I’ve been walking in a season of overcoming fear. Fear that I didn’t even know I had for so long because I felt that I was in control of certain situations. If there’s one thing that I’ve learned this year it’s that there is no such thing as “being in control” of life. The things you can control today are things that might spiral out of your control tomorrow. One thing I’m learning to walk out of is “perfectionism”. I don’t know when it happened, but I used to believe the lie of having to make every perfect decision in every situation of life. I used to believe that if I didn’t, God wouldn’t trust me with anything anymore. I believed that lie for so long that it was slowly killing my self esteem to the point of not believing I was worthy of anything when I messed up. I still battle to overcome this lie, but it wasn’t until I opened up to someone about it that they told me the truth about who I was, and whose I was. God didn’t die so that you could be perfect, but He died so that you could be imperfect and allow Him to be perfect for you. Healthy community is key! And I’m still learning that. Anyways this is the journey I am currently on and if you want to talk about it with anyone, or have any questions let me know ♡ P.S. my boyfriend has mad photography skills. Thank you for capturing a moment so perfectly @andrew_fairweather
