R O J O : these liquid lips are some of my all time faves and they’ve been around for a while. Totally under the radar and give lipsence a run for their money. I bought some more on clearance at target so I hope that doesn’t mean they are discontinuing them! @rimmellondonus provocalips in from top to bottom: play with fire, berry seductive, and kiss me you fool (my fave).
You can create space for anything you value. ✨ Do you value art - creating/ selling/ buying/ encouraging/ believing? ☕️ Today is the first time in my grief journey that I woke up before the rest of the house and decided to paint with my time. Before tea and emails there was 15 minutes of silence and color. The space was ready and waiting. Space is amazing like that — you can create the space you know you want when you have the energy and it will be there to support you when you’re ready.
My promise to those partnering with me on The Soul Sessions. Their promise in return? To have the grit, the courage and the candour to show themselves and consciously create the life that they crave. Spaces for the March Soul Sessions open in just a few weeks. Are you ready to evoke the call of the wild and step into your success?

This is 39 weeks pregnant...nothing but sitting on a therapy ball and doing anything to get your mind off the fact that you haven’t had a baby yet and trying every old wives tale in the book. 39 weeks pregnant is modeling your artwork with a baby bump and hands that haven’t worn wedding rings in weeks. 39 weeks has also been incredibly peaceful and while yes, I am 100% ready to meet our little human I have been enjoying the slow pace of life right now and morning/evening cuddles with my husband and taking the time to do some more organizing and cleaning around the house, oh and to finish packing my bag for the birth center 😆 Nothing like saving it til the last minute☺️
🖌🎨 And your face is a blank canvas 💋. Can you believe I made it through my 41st birthday spending only 2 minutes on makeup everyday, IF that 😂? I’d shower, moisturize and go, then apply lipstick at the office while my computer started up each morning 🙈. Now, I actually spend about 5-10 minutes (at home 😂) putting on my Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer, BlushSense, mascara & LipSense. And I have to say, it’s AMAZING what a confidence boost a little color can give a girl. ~ So tell me, how much time do YOU spend doing your makeup each morning and what are your makeup essentials? I’m genuinely interested, since I’m only about 5 months into being an official “grown up” with grown up makeup 😉. #letteringbydio#fabyoulipsity

Uh oh here comes trouble...

It's a new year and I know the shop has been closed for months now.. But it will be back open and stocked January 28th and I can't wait to get back to all of you that have been waiting. I apologize for not having an answer for when we would be open the past little while... But taking a break has been the best thing for me and the shop. Time to reflect and make decisions has been very rewarding... But the disconnect during that time has truly made me miss you guys. I hope you all are ready for an amazing 2018!
If you haven’t checked out the free mini class on L I G H T I N G from @bensasso you really should do it. Right now. It totally changed my perspective on light, and gave me the courage to try weird things and test out ways to manipulate lighting to work to my advantage. I’m definitely not as afraid of light anymore!
LOOKING CLOSER | Chaïm Soutine. Soutine’s Portraits: Cooks, Waiters & Bellboys @thecourtauld until Sunday. The Courtauld Gallery brings together an outstanding group of portraits by Chaïm Soutine (1893-1943). #Soutine was one of the leading painters in Paris in the 1920s and 1930s and was seen by many as the heir to Vincent van Gogh. This major exhibition is the first time he has been exhibited in the United Kingdom in 35 years.
In the early 1920s, Soutine became fascinated by the cooks and waiting staff of French hotels and restaurants, attired in boldly coloured uniforms. Over the next decade, these humble models sat for him in Paris and the south of France. The resulting series of portraits offer powerful images of a new social class of service personnel, who moved from aristocratic households of past centuries to the luxury hotels and restaurants that arose in the late 19th and early 20th century. These often-overlooked figures from France’s most fashionable places of leisure, including the famous Maxim’s restaurant in Paris, appealed to Soutine’s idea that profound emotion and a deep sense of humanity could be found in such modest sitters. He strived to achieve the most forceful effects of colour from the bold whites, reds and blues of their different liveries.
