What I ate today: BREAKFAST (130) Strawberry oatmeal * * LUNCH (230) 2 small blueberry muffins * * DINNER (236) 2 small chicken breasts * * SNACKS (n/a) * * EXERCISE (89) - dance - short walk * * TOTAL (670) I started my steroid today (for my heart) and that made me SOO hungry which made me feel soo bad if I wanted to snack tomorrow I promise I’ll log and take pictures of what I eat better and more I was with my family ALL day today and they would think it’s weird of me to be taking pictures of all my meals💗

⚠️ A food label that says 0 calories doesn’t necessarily mean 0 calories!⚠️ ... Let’s chat about cooking spray for a minute. You pick up a cooking spray that says 100% olive oil, but it also says 0 calories. Wait, something doesn’t add up. Olive oil has calories. And quite a few at that. So, how does spraying it remove all the calories? Let’s break down each element of the label here ... ⓵ The FDA allows any food that has fewer than 5 calories per serving to round down to 0 calories. Most sprays contain about 2 calories per serving. ⓶ A full can will usually have around 500 servings. So if you do that math, you’re looking at around 1,000 calories in an entire can. ⓷ A serving size for cooking spray is 1/4 or 1/3 of a second. I don’t know about you, but I spray for a liiiitle bit longer than that. An average spray is 3-4 seconds long for cooking. So looking at this example, that would mean you’re having 16 servings at once, or 32 calories. ⓸ The same goes for fat- since it’s such a low amount, around 0.2g per serving, they are rounding down to 0g. If we stay true to our 16 servings, that’s about 3g of fat each time you spray. If you’re watching your calories, cooking sprays are still a very smart choice! The calories are still lower than if you were to use pure oil, but it’s important to understand that there ARE calories in these sprays. Is it all or nothing? It was for me. And it even still feels like that sometimes. . I’m not gonna lie. Traveling + staying on track is not easy. Is it possible? Yes. Does it feel impossible? Yes again. . Meal schedules are off. Workout schedules are off. Temptations are real. Food that’s fast is sometimes all that’s available + even if it’s not fast food, your body might tell you it is. And speaking of which, “travel belly” 😳💩 is totally a thing. Ever felt super poopy 💩, or lack thereof, while traveling?! . So here are a few of my best #biohacking tricks for how I stay focused and “in the game” 🏈 while away from home. . ✈️ Don’t skip your protein! It’s easy to get stuck in the cycle of only snacking when you’re on limited time. What happens? You end up feeling more and more unsatisfied which will undoubtedly lead to bingeing on crap 🍪 How do I know? Because I’ve been there! . 👉🏼It may not be ideal for what you “usually” follow though something as simple as Greek yogurt or nuts + seeds can really do the trick! . ✈️MCT Oil.
