Me revoilà motivée pour reprendre Le secret du poids 🤗 Après avoir suivi ce rééquilibrage en 2016 et avoir perdu 18kg, j’ai malheureusement (presque) tout repris, la faute à une relation amoureuse catastrophique, qui a donné suite à une rupture catastrophique, une obligation de recommencer ma vie, de repartir de zéro. Intermittent fasting? Paleo? - Different diets work for different people - find what works for you. - If weight loss is your goal, knowing when to stop dieting can also be a struggle. - What? While there are certainly factors each individual must consider - including how much weight you have to lose - you need to consider taking a diet break after about 12 weeks. Well, to be honest, being surrounded by so many vegetarians and vegans 🌱 on my work as well as not being able to buy a good pork 🍖 here in Vienna made me think of (again) going more plant-based 🥦 in my cooking. So I tried some stuff even before (check my 7-day vegan challenge in some previous posts) but had major digestive issues.😅 Then, I realized I can relate these to Ayurvedic approach to nutrition (don't really care about the explanations based on doshas but appreciate the fact it's empirical and developed throughout many years - I really fit into #Vata -#Pitta combo). I decided to test out all the tasty #foods #Paleo and non-paleo all over again and monitor my digestive reactions (literally made an Excel sheet 📊). Based on that, I made some #decisions : 1️⃣ I'm going to design 📝 my own #nutrition plan🍴 that is completely adjusted to WHAT MY BODY ACCEPTS without cramps and bloating and loose stools 💩 regardless of any formal #nutritional approach. 2️⃣ I'm going to eat my LARGEST MEALS WHEN MOST RELAXED 😌 which in my case is not a lunchtime (since it's on workplace where I'm in rush). 3️⃣ I have to ACCEPT THE CHANGES that come with years and seasons🌡️☀️🌧️🌨️ - the true keto though (too!) tasty now makes me eat more (!) calories than I should since my body got adjusted to it. 4️⃣ I'm going to incorporate MORE easy digestible #VEGGIES 🥗, rice🍚 and chickpeas (the only legumes I can handle without any issues), use whole chilies🌶️ instead of chopped just for the flavour and to avoid the common #gut reaction I have with any whole peppers.🙈 5️⃣ I'm going to be aware of PORTION SIZE 🍽️ and TOTAL DAILY AMOUNT of #CALORIES . 6️⃣ The most difficult one: try my best to REDUCE CAFFEINE consumption - 1 cup ☕ in morning, ✖️ coffee after meals, no cheating with sugar free energy drinks and incorporating more HERBAL TEAS. . Yesterday, I received a message from someone who's taken my advice and started paying more attention to nutrition facts 📝 over what just seems healthy 🍎❓... - After some investigating 🕵️, she discovered this Multigrain Bagel sandwich from McDonald's was one of the biggest calorie culprits in her diet! - You know what's funny (for lack of a better term)? All she wanted was a single Mcgriddle. VOLUME EATING HACK - AVOCADO🥑 ⠀ Are you a smashed avo on toast lover 🥑🍞? ⠀ It is definitely pretty easy to go overboard with avocado especially because they are so delicious! ⠀ Even though avos are super healthy since they are loaded with healthy monounsaturated fats, fibre, vitamin C and folate (just to name a few), a serving size is still only ~30-50g. ⠀ My trick is to mix avocado with either green peas, edamame or ricotta/cottage cheese (regular or reduced fat), it helps reduce the calorie load without reducing the volume! I like large portions 🤷🏻‍♀️ and often enjoy adding it to salads so this trick really helps keep my portion size in check! ⠀ Really, it’s a perfectly balanced mix of healthy fat, protein and fibre that will keep you feeling full and satisfied! Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner or maybe even a snack! ⠀ This trick also helps me out because I follow a modified FODMAP diet and struggle to tolerate a large portion of avocado (I’m intolerant to sorbitol). This trick allows me to enjoy avocado in the portion size that works for me. Roasted veg is so nice lol and if you come across white zucchini, buy it!!! Tastes so nice and sweet during this season. I've been uping my greens game, meaning more broccoli too and honestly oven roasting it is the best. I roasted everything on my plate (except the prawns and avocado ofc lol), just cut it all up, place it on a tray, drizzle olive oil and salt and then roast at 250° for around 15/20 mins. You dont want to burn them, especially since broccoli can instantly dry out and burn in the oven. - Oh and another thing, mash up your avocado, add grated garlic, lemon juice and salt (yummmeh). I only have half an avo a day, meaning my breakfast and lunch has 1/4 of an avo. That's only because I find half an avo filling enough. My sister is my avo-half (other half) because we share 1 avocado. Get it? I'm not gonna lie.. This was today's breakfast.. And it was good! 🍫🍊🍰 Headed on down to the makers market straight from the gym this morning and picked up a few treats. This chocolate orange cake was absolutely delicious and worth every calorie it contained! I somewhat controlled myself and got this delight along with a rocky road bar (which I'm having for lunch. Ha!) I know that for the first time in a long tine I won't get anywhere near my macros today. I know that there's no nutritional value in any of it but hey, I'm okay with that for just one day! I won't be going over my daily calories by a ridiculous amount and overall I'll still be in a defecit and so I refuse to feel any guilt about it! 😁 Life's too short. MACROS • Macros (or macronutrients) are the 3 food groups we need to survive- Proteins 🍗 Fats 🥑 Carbohydrates 🍠 These all have their own specific roles and functions in the body, and all supply us with calories or energy which is why it’s important to include all 3 in a healthy balanced diet. The ratio of each will largely depend on your goal (health, fitness, aesthetic?) and your personal preference, as your split will affect how satisfied you feel and determine whether you are getting all the nutrients your body needs. For example when it comes to losing weight, how much you eat matters more than the amounts of carbs, fat and protein in your food. If you’re in a calorie deficit you will lose weight - it’s science 🤓. However, food and its macro composition can influence how satiated you feel so, while 100 calories of broccoli and 100 calories of doughnuts contain the same amount of energy, they affect your body and food choices very differently - the broccoli is much more like to leave you feeling full due to the amount of fibre it contains. Protein also promotes feelings of fullness, plus it reduces muscle loss and has the highest thermic effect, meaning it takes more calories to digest compared to carbs or fats. • All foods can be broadly categorised into a protein, a carb or a fat, although its rare for a food to be 100% of one macro, especially in a varied diet - eg an avocado is comprised of about 20% carbohydrate, 5% protein and 75% fat. Bananas on the other hand are 95% carbohydrate. Unless you have very specific aesthetic goals (eg you are looking to complete in a body building or bikini completion) you can't go far wrong by simply dividing your meals into 3 parts to include a carbohydrate, a protein and a naturally fat-rich food 👍🏼 (Image - @meowmeix )

ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUT CAESAR SALAD✨ MY FAVORITE DRESSING 😛 Tag a friend and grab recipe below! INGREDIENTS Romaine, arugula or spinach (whatever greens you want) 1 lb Brussel sprouts, halved  1 tbsp avocado oil  1/2 tsp salt  1/4 tsp pepper  1 avocado  Dressing  3 cloves garlic, crushed 2 tablespoons dijon mustard 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar 4 tbsp tahini 1/2 cup water Juice of two lemons 1 1/2 tsp onion powder 3 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper Croutons: 4 slices sourdough bread 1/2 tbsp onion powder 1/2 tbsp garlic powder 1 tsp salt INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut sourdough bread into cubes, place on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Sprinkle over onion powder, garlic powder and salt. Place in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden. On another baking sheet place halved Brussel sprouts, drizzle over oil and season with salt and pepper. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes or until golden and crisp!  In a medium sized bowl combine all dressing ingredients and whisk together until well combined. Roughly chop greens, place in a large mixing bowl. Ever tried Tabata Training? . It's a pretty tough form of interval training which doesn't involve much rest. . Typical Tabata training involves 20s of work with 10s rest for a set number of sets. . Performing 2x as much work as rest makes it extremely hard to recover, and as a results leads to a very short but intense workout. . With this style of training you are usually better off utilising exercises that can be performed at a much faster tempo or have minimal load, body weight exercises tend to work extremely well, such as push ups as seen in the short clip. . . ـ ⁦🍽️⁩ الصيام المتقطع ⁦🍽️⁩ . حركوا الصوره هتلاقوا مثال 👉👉👉👉 . أنا هتكلم عنه وأشرحه بشكل مبسط واللى محتاج معلومات أكتر يقدر يبحث ويقرأ ،، أنا هاخد الجانب اللى يخص التخسيس . مؤخراً ظهر نظام الصيام المتقطع كإحدى الطرق اللى بيتبعها الغرب لرفع معدل حرق الجسم وكسر الثبات ونزول الكرش وكمان للتحكم فى الشهيه . الموضوع مش مختلف عن صيامنا الإسلامى المعتاد ،، ف احنا نقدر نطبقه عن طريق صيامنا العادى أو عن طريق حاجه تانيه هوضحها تحت . الصيام المتقطع ليه أنواع كتير ؛ أنا هختار نوع منهم واتكلم عليه وهو ؛ 16/8 يعنى إيه ؟؟ . الموضوع باختصار إنى بفضل صايمه لمدة 16 ساعه بدون أي أكل فيه سعرات خالص ،، لكن مسموحلى ؛ شاى أو قهوه (( بدون لبن ولا سكر )) ممكن ينسون ممكن نعناع وميه كتيييير جداً طبعاً ،، وبعدين ؛ . باقى الساعات بتاعة اليوم اللى هما 8 ساعات باخد فيهم وجبتين أو 3 فيهم احتياجاتى من السعرات وأكل هيلثى مش بيتزا وبرجر. ناخد مثال كده ونعرف ليه بيسموه عكسى ؛ أنا دلوقتى مثلاً اتعشيت الساعه 11 بالليل هوقف أكل ومش هاكل أي أكل فيه سعرات لغاية الساعه 3 تانى يوم .. ومن 3 لـ 11 هاكل 3 وجبات أو وجبتين فيهم احتياجات جسمى من السعرات أو على نظام الدايت اللى ماشيه عليه (( النوم محسوب من ساعات الصيام )) . وممكن تخلوا العشا قبل كده عشان الفطار يبقى بدرى عن كده براحتكوا . طبعاً هو أنواعه كتير بس انا خدت النوع الأكثر شيوعاً واللى بيتطبق أكتر فى التخسيس . ممكن يتعمل مرتين أو 3 أيام فى الأسبوع ممكن على طول براحتكوا وهتعرفوا اللى يناسبكوا بالتجربه مش كل جسم زى التانى . بعض الدكاتره كمان بتنصح إن الصيام بالنسبه للبنات ميزيدش عن 14 ساعه فقط عشان ميحصلش لخبطة هرمونات ❌ أتمنى أكون قدرت أفيدكوا وأي سؤال اكتبوه ف كومنت ومن عينيا للكل 🌸 . ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ #دايت #تمارين #رشاقه #calories #caloriecounting #befit #تغذيه #تخسيس #سعرات #follow #foodie #diet #fit #healthy #nutrition #onlinecoaching #dietplan #losingweight #fattofit #newpost #الصيام_المتقطع #intermittentfasting #keto #atkins #workout
- I'm on day four of a workout challenge and I'm down like 0.7 kgs (almost two pounds I think??) woooo 😁 Hopefully I keep this up, I'll be happy if I even lose ONE kg each month this year TBH, that'll get me to at least 78 kgs (about 172lbs) and that's a start .
