oh the places you'll go. ✨
I can't believe I'm still pulling out photos from this trip almost 4 months later. Just such an amazing place. Hope you guys don't mind the American content!

Portage Ave sunset + crisp winter air 🌇
Three thoughts over the weekend: there's always more to a story, get comfortable over being uncomfortable, and not matter how things go, always find time for yourself.
Holding onto memories of water that isn’t frozen over 🥶
It's been almost two weeks since I've been back from my latest travels, and I really thought that once I was back home again on a more or less full-time basis that I would be posting on IG more regularly. However, I haven't had as much energy or motivation lately as I had expected. I have to admit that as fantastic as the nearly five months of travelling was, it took a lot out of me. Since I've been back, I've really been getting stuck into going through the stuff in my mum's house (where I'm currently living) and trying to figure out what I can sell. In particular, I'm trying to get rid of any Christmas items that I no longer want, as well as any items that people might want to buy as Christmas gifts. Going through old items and deciding what to do with them is a tiring task in and of itself, but when there are so many memories and emotions attached to them, it makes it even more draining. Emotions were also running high earlier this week as my birthday approached (15th Nov), the first one with no parents, and I just wanted to get through it and have it be over. To top it all off, I'm not a big fan of the winter and particularly not the cold, and I find that this time of the year really zaps my energy as the days get shorter, darker, and colder. It just makes me want to hibernate - or to escape to somewhere sunny and warm!
This shot is from back in July when the days were long and hot and sunny, and going out to shoot sunsets and sunrises meant staying up late and getting up really early. For this particular sunset in Comox, I was lucky that a couple had left their kayaks behind in the water as they were watching the sunset themselves.

70°N in the Norwegian Arctic
Nights are very long in this part of the world right now... and by next week, the sun will disappear until mid-January.
While in 🇳🇴 with @ArticaAdventures
and the crew, we made each daylight hour count by swimming with wild orcas and humpbacks. I've tagged them in this photo, so be sure to check out their perspectives from our week together in Northern Norway as there were some really incredible images captured by the group.
We kept looking for her horn. 🦄
~ What’s your cozy winter vibes? ~ A roller coaster of a weekend, but still managed to get some sweet shots, stay tuned for that!
It's a grainy photo but the photo itself is worth a million pixels to me. This image was taken on a go pro in "super wide" mode, making everything appear much further than reality. Try to imagine how close these orcas were to us as they playfully swam by.
You get a new appreciation when seeing these ancient forests floors from the air. 🍁🍃🍂 •

If you're looking for a condo to rent, Duke Furnished Suites is the place to go. It's a 2 minute walk from the CN tower, Rogers Center, and Ripley's aquarium. The balconies have stunning views and there's also a rooftop pool and sundeck 🏊🏻♂️🌞

Time Spent Amongst Trees
Is Never Time Wasted
That adorably speckled plumpness and those big dark eyes are a pretty winning combination!
This gorgeous filly was my favourite on the island. We all wanted to bring her home.
The not-so-fun side of an island with wild horses...
Where the wild things are
I'll never forget the first time I jumped into the arctic ocean in search for killer whales. I'm so thankful for opportunities like this to take a leap into something that's so beyond my comfort zone. Saying yes to experiences outside of your comfort is undoubtably the most liberating thing you can do for yourself. If you're feeling uninspired, a little low, or just bored, why don't you go looking for something that kind of scares you? What do you have to lose?
