D) be an awesome human being (just trying to see who reads rules these days)
E) contest ends in 48 hours

This is a very arbitrary contest because it all depends on what I think is "best." No limit on how many captions you submit.
Okay my deers, good luck. ***************************************** She extended her neck. He turned his head to hers. They inched closer. Slowly, so very slowly, their eyes meet. I quietly capture a romantic moment between two white-tailed deer: their first kiss.
This species featured today for #wildlifewednesday
ranges from Canada down south to Bolivia or even Peru. It is native in the previously mentioned places, but has been introduced in many other places including Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Jamaica, New Zealand, Cuba, Finland, Serbia, and the Czech Republic.
White-tailed deer typically range from 40-90 kg, but have been recorded at over 200 kg in northern areas such as Canada.
White-tailed deer are herbivorous and their special stomachs can even handle mushrooms that humans cannot eat and poison ivy.
One of the issues though with deer populations is that they often explode because of a lack of predators and the deer can assist invasive species success rates.
NB: these two deer kissed two times while I was watching and I have a photograph of one of those times, but I like this one much better.
NB2: I did not end up submitting this photograph to the Caption This contest. I will share those submissions later.
