It’s been forever it seems like it since I last worked out? ⠀
Ok ok it’s been since Friday! 😂😂 I was just wondering why my body felt so weird?? 🤔🤔. ⠀
Maybe because I’m getting a sore throat and I honestly didn’t feel like doing crap this morning. But either way I still got up and went to log onto my program and it wasn’t working 😱😱. Soon in enough it was back up and was able to do another oldie but goodie. ⠀

I was impressed with that I was able to do a burpee and jump in the air and lift my legs 😱😱. Those are the moments that I realIze how far I’ve come and far I continue to go. I understand and know it’s a lifestyle and not just a quick fix or fad diet. It’s something that our bodies need on a daily bases. ⠀

Looking for a workout to do with minimal equipment that will burn that Turkey??? This is my go to workout when I really need to SWEAT 💧 it out and hit it hard with little time! Move around daily: Moving around can be fit into any lifestyle and it help you to burn some extra calories that gives your metabolism a boost. Taking stairs, a quick stroll on your lunch break, walking instead of driving are some of the ways to add some movement to your daily life.
Lift weights: Our body uses 3 times more calories to maintain the muscle cells than fat cells, so by lifting some weights and packing on some muscle, you can increase the metabolic rate.
Try interval sprints: These short, high intensity energy bursts burn through a relatively large amounts of calories and give your metabolism a significant kick.
Bodyweight exercises: They are a great way to burn some calories and give you some muscles, burst a few push up, pull up or bodyweight squats whenever you get a couple of minutes to spare. Because of their high intensity they are an excellent metabolism booster.
Cardio machine: Place the cardio machine in a position that allows you to view TV. And then when the TV is on, start pedaling, gliding, running or stepping and burn some additional calories while enjoy the screen.
Consistency and rest: As always consistency is the key here too, so whichever activity you are implementing, make sure you are doing them on a daily basis.
Overtraining and not getting enough sleep can actually slow down your metabolism and reduce the number of calories that you burn during your workout. So make sure you take time to rest, relax and recover.

Motivation Monday. WOD consisted of lunges, squats, biceps and 2 miles of cardio! Squat machine PR 180 lbs-I never thought this would ever happen. I’m pretty sure all of the heavier weights over the last few months caused this💙(thanks Street Parking 😉) What a way to celebrate Steve’s 7 month milestone and Street Parking’s 2 year anniversary 💪🏻.
