Do you meal prep for the week? 🤔
I do NOT.
The thought of cooking chicken in batches putting rice and broccoli in Tupperware's is not my jam. No thanks.
And somehow, after losing 45 lbs (and 4 years later), I still succeed despite not doing weekly meal prep.
I do what works for ME!
🚫 Cooking for hours on a Sunday is not for me
🚫 Eating "clean" all week isn't for me either
🚫 And I do NOT want to always be eating 4-6 meals daily with my busy schedule
So what does work for me?
Well, what kinda week is it?! Cuz every one is different which means I embrace whatever plan is gonna help me succeed that week...
(TIP: be married to your GOAL, not the plan! Plans are meant to change... Plus having options makes it fun!)

With 3 competitions entered for this year, training has begun. Running through mental scenarios in my head.
It’s important to recognise your weaknesses & reduce them as much as possible, not only for a competitive edge but also for injury prevention.
Although I mostly train alone I acknowledge everyone that has helped me to get to this point, my family, friends and coaches, life truly is a team effort, through which you deliver your best self.
I know I have much to learn with a huge journey ahead of me, but as a rule, I always lift others up as I rise, when I win, everybody eats. That’s what I’m about.

What do you do when you meet a “celebrity”? I usually try not to “bother them”. Truly it probably comes out of a feeling of not being worthy to interrupt their day? They are bombarded all the time… so just leave them alone… .
Andrew takes the opposite approach. He goes right on in for the meet & greet. 🤣 Heck, he’s even tagged people on social media in the same room so they would look up and see who the stranger is talking about them…..thus creating the perfect opportunity to say hello. (While Joy is sitting there mortified, mind you.)
I’ve always tried to hide a little when around influential people. .
I’ll never forget the first time I met ShaunT. I was so nervous that I was shaking. 🤣 I honestly think I had quiver lips. So silly because he is the nicest person who makes you feel like an instant friend.
This past weekend I was overseeing the VIP photo with him and witnessed so many nervous step into the photo booth and it was fascinating the range of emotion going on. Some were fighting back tears…others couldn’t wait to tell their story…some nervously took the photo and left…. Some just straight up let the tears flow. .
And then when all was said and done, the group picture assembled and one of my friends encouraged me to get in the shot….I’m pretty sure she saw me just standing there like a freaked out middle school kid — hesitating and debating whether I “belonged” in the shot. 🤣 .
So crazy. Of course I belong. We all do. This year is the year of break through for us… and one of the breakthroughs I’m having right now is that I’m not bothering anyone to say hello or take a photo or share a story. ..
Every interaction is a chance for our stories to equally and powerfully collide and create a new level of impact together.
Isn’t that crazy powerful? People are placed into our LIFE for a reason. No more holding back….for any of us. Our stories SHOULD collide and create something beautiful and new.
