"The quality, not the longevity, of one's life is what is important." - Dr Martin Luther King Jr
Looking west towards Mt. Eddy, the highest point in the Trinity Mountains, and somewhat interestingly, the highest point west of Interstate 5.
is actually a game of “spot the baby” - this was Bub’s first ski tour last year at 5 months old or so. Points to whoever can point him out! Mellow trails, soft conditions, in one of our favorite, well loved spots, with extra friend hands on deck in case we needed baby backup. It was a truly perfect day adventuring in the snow as a new little family!
Last week we were asked what the best part of The Musical Mountaineers was.
We didn’t have to think very hard at all: it’s YOU.
It’s the people we have met along the way.
It’s the smiles we have shared.
The moments that we’ve cried together.
It’s the way that you tell us about the most personal moments in your life - and how our music has given you peace.
It’s when you say that we’ve inspired you to try something new... to play an instrument... to sing a song... to go for a hike at sunrise.
It’s the look on your face when you stumble across a surprise alpine concert.
It’s the friendships we’ve made and the stories we’ve shared.
It’s the laughter that will echo in the mountains until the end of time.
The Musical Mountaineers is about bringing YOUR music into the world... it is about becoming who you were meant to be and not missing one single day of your life because you can feel that it is such a precious, beautiful gift. Because you can close your eyes and feel the sun on your face as it rises to greet a new day and as you listen to the wind rushing off the peaks in the distance you can wonder if maybe... just maybe... you can hear music. ❤️ 📷 @missroselouise
1/17/19: Heavy pow on east and west facing aspects between 5k’ and 7k’ varied from 6” to 1’. Super fun in the morning and wet this afternoon. Stability was good. Great day for 162cm of #camber
Name the bucket and I’ll buy ya a beer. 😉
to a September stroll around Lake Padden. Today there’s fewer hours of sunlight per day, less leaves on the trees, and a lot more wind. But so far this season, it feels like winter is skipping right over us in the coastal lowlands. Thank God fall is my favorite season, because it never really seems to end here in Western WA!

Sometimes busy doesn't feel like a blessing but I remember when I used to dream of having the 'problems' I get to be challenged by today.
I don't post selfies. I think this accurately describes why. But go check out @themodernrebels
apparel. She's got some awesome selection and the material used is super comfy.

We have retrieved thousands of tires since we founded PurNat. Our biggest question is, why trow it in the nature when we can recycle them.
