On Friday night we got to go out for a very rare date night. So I allowed myself a night off from raw food but stuck to vegan cooked foods. We went to my favorite restaurant @true_food_kitchen.
If you haven’t been to yourself a favor a go! Just look at this food - seriously amazing and all healthy! I had:-
🍋 Kale, ginger, lemon. Apple, celery & cucumber juice (Ruben had a lemon grass margarita which smelt amazing) 🍋 charred cauliflower with harissa and tahini, dill, dates, mint and pistachio
🍋 kale guacamole with pink grapefruit and sunflower seeds 🍋 Spicy Panang curry with potatoes, bokchoy, green beans and carrots

tempura cauliflower. Delish. Creamy on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. I added some mushrooms and micro greens on top. Next time I’d add even more veggies like zucchini and onion. But this was a winning combo 👌🏻 👊🏻
Deets👇🏻 Bake up the tempura cauliflower. Sauté some mushrooms, onion, zucchini, etc..any veggies really. I threw in some rice and zhoug sauce. Then just throw it all in a bowl and the end. ✌🏻
I meal-prepped so much food today! This is the most I’ve done in a long time and I think I’m most focused on making sure I have snacks and small meals for when I get hungry throughout the day. From the top left, zoodles with dairy-free pesto, balsamic chicken and veggies, chicken salad with apples, grapes, and only a spoonful of mayo, apples and bananas for snacks, Greek yogurt with grapes and kiwi, chicken and broccoli cauliflower casserole for breakfast, and finally, a curried cauliflower soup (some of which we had for dinner)! This week is gonna be #delicious

since I’ve been feeling a lack of structure with my snacking recently.

I had been dying to try @organicgrill
since moving here and finally did for my one year anniversary of living in the big 🍎. Pictures are the cauliflower pops with buffalo sauce and the green machine burger on a gf bun. I thought the cauliflower pops were delicious, but for me the burger was just ok. And at $16, it wasn’t what I was hoping for. As a home cook/baker I understand that things cost more with gf items, but for me it wasn’t quite worth it. If im close by I might get the pops again as a treat, but I could easily make it at home for a fraction of the cost.

I had the best breakfast this morning! It’s one I put together a few weeks and have been craving it ever since. Super simple - take a head of cauliflower, one baked sweet potato, and some pumpkin spice. Put the cauliflower in a food processor and pulse until it’s in small chunks. Add sweet potato and spices, then pulse until combined. Can eat as is, or topped with cherries, berries, and almond milk like I did this morning. Sounds odd...tastes great! 😋
Cauliflower, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts, oh my! So excited to see these guys this morning. Now excuse us while we try not to roast ourselves today. It’s only 10am and the thermostat says it’s 30 degrees out already! Stay hydrated our fellow farmer friends who are working today! 👩🌾🔥☄️👩🌾😂
