I’m going to be posting twice for the next 2 Days, and to get ready for Draft Week I’ll be reviewing ideal fits at the QB, RB, WR, and TE positions. Now ideal fits aren’t so much just for Fantasy Value, but just overall great fits and where they would be drafted.
DALLAS GOEDERT - Overall the most complete TE in the class and someone who could make an immediate impact for the Saints. Not only will he be available in the last first, but the Saints May even be able to trade back and still get him. Fits well into the Saints offense and creates a mismatch on offense in single coverage.
MARK ANDREWS - The playmaker. In other words, what Miami needs. Julius Thomas didn’t work out all that much, and with Landry gone, it makes sense for the Dolphins to take any weapon they can get. Especially in the 2nd Round.
HAYDEN HURST - With all the passing options in Crabtree, Snead, and Brown added, Hurst is a well needed replacement for Pitta. Not only does Hurst have two functioning hips, but he is an excellent blocker as well. If the Ravens take Hurst, Collins may be in for a very good year..
MIKE GESICKI - One of the most underrated TEs in the class, Gesicki would be a good Gronk replacement. Now let me remind you that Gronk is irreplaceable, but with all the talk of Gronk retiring or being traded, the Patriots could look to add a new mismatch in the draft. Yes they signed Troy Nikita’s, but they are used to 2 TE Sets anyway..
TROY FUMAGALLI - C.J. Fiedorowicz retired unfortunately at a young age due to MANY concussions. Leaving a hole to be filled. Fumagalli can be taken late in the draft and would step into a depleted TE Core. He may not be as popular as the other options, but the guy has nice hands.
