Reports are stating that AC Milan are so disappointed in Bakayoko's performances so far in training and 2 Europa League starts that they are considering terminating his loan contract at a cost.
Bakayoko moved to AC Milan this Summer on a 2 year loan deal which cost the Rossoneri €5m, and the midfielder is earning another €5m per year in wages, which AC Milan are not very willing to pay after his recent performances. The French midfielder has an option to buy for €35m at the end of his loan deal, but it seems unlikely that Milan will choose to buy the player who Gennaro Gatuso, their manager, described as having "major defects" after his debut for the club.
However, we believe that Milan want to give Bakayoko another 6-8 games to prove himself, or else his loan will be terminated and he'll end up in Chelsea's reserves until the next transfer window when we will probably sell him.
Thoughts? 💭 Was he one of our worst signings in history?
