Some people cut butter completely out, then there’s me... a pat of it on hot bread, corn-on-the-cob, to sauté shrimp, baste a roasting chicken, garlic bread :) * * Herb butter 🌿 Mix together 4 Tbsps of softened salted butter, 1/8 tsp of fresh smashed and chopped garlic, 3/4 tsp finely chopped red onion, 1/2 tsp fresh chopped thyme, 2 1/2 tsps fresh chopped parsley, and a pinch of black pepper. Chill in refrigerator until firm. FULL Protein Flapjacks Recipe Including Marcos! I like to make this over the weekend when I am really craving something sweet! My favourite is chocolate peanut butter, you can use any flavour whey you like! Including Marcos! HOW TO "CHEAT MEAL" PROPERLY: Firstly words such as "cheat meal", "free meal", or "off plan" has a very negative connotation for many who have tried multiple fad diets. I use that word only to help you understand what I am referring to. I believe that 90% of the time, we should be conscious of what we eat and eat foods only to sustain us, help us fuel and get energy to be a healthy human being. But every once in a while we need to indulge. To not think about every gram of carbs, every calorie etc. From experience, a meal like this wont prevent you from reaching a fitness goal, it can actually help! I recommend having a "cheat meal" ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS for people in weight loss, and once a week for people in weight maintenance. Keep in mind, however that this is supposed to be enjoyable. Eating under your belly hurts is not being kind to your body. You dont want to be constipated for days after. So here are a few tips: 1) DRINK 2 CUPS OF WATER 15 MIN BEFORE. Once you start eating simply carbs like white wheat and sugar, your brain will start craving more and more and more. Many people start stuffing themselves and wont recognize if they're full. Drinking before will not only help you with constipation, it will also help your body notice if it's full. 2) WATCH OUR FOR THOSE SIDES! Many people choose to eat out of the house, so they don't risk having tempting leftovers in their fridge or cabinets the next day. When you eat out the side dishes can be really high in calories and unhealthy fats. Choose vegetable sides... that way you wont be full by dessert! 3) BE AWARE OF AFTER AFFECTS! While this isnt the case for ALL people, many wake up the next day thinking they need more calories. Since yesterday you ate a lot more than normal, your stomach "expanded" and now you think you're hungrier or need more to eat than you actually do! Eat a normal, regular meal the next morning Don't either fall into the trap of thinking you should starve yourself because you ate freely the day before. You can eat lighter foods like asparagus, salmon, egg whites and spinach. Drink lots of water and tea! Enjoy!!

No hay termino más despectivo en la vida que la mal llamada "comida trampa" ya de sólo pensarlo antes de comerte algo que te gusta y que no lo haces todo los días te causa un remordimiento terrible. Es como que, comida trampa= engaño, mentira, angustia, cero placer ya que nadie goza algo cuando lo siente o lo catalogan como una trampa. Entonces muchos dirán, ah no pero es que la referencia de la trampa no es con la comida en si, si no que el cuerpo lo ve como una trampa para mantener el metabolismo acelerado y bla bla, cosa que tampoco es cierta, pero es lo mismo, que es eso de engañar tu cuerpo? Imagínate que si ya de por sí la gente es bien hipócrita tu también vas a meterle un cuento chino a tu propio cuerpo? Esa frase es demasiado fuerte y va mucho más allá que un simple termino de moda. . Un ejemplo: si yo te digo que prefieres o que te haría sentir mejor contigo, una comida trampa o una comida divertida? . Hasta pareciera que al leer comidas divertidas te causa una sensación de felicidad, mientras que lo otro te da como miedo y angustia; así que por favor, desterremos esa frase de nuestro diccionario, recuerda la palabra tiene mucho poder. Por otro lado, me preguntan mucho que si hacen la comida divertida el día que entrenan, el día que descansan, el día que salen con el novio, los amigos, Hágalo y ya, deje tanta agonía, si usted no se come está hamburguesa a diario, no pasará nada si lo hace cuando entrena o cuando descansa. Cuanto mucho lo que podría pasar es que los dias que no entrena va a cargar sus reservas y al siguiente día tendrá más energía para entrenar. .
