Believe it or not this was the ONLY picture I took today, and I can honestly say I've been focusing more on the workout rather than the angle of my selfie.
I noticed myself getting into a groove of thinking "let's get a pump so my selfie looks better"... like lauren, stop, a good selfie is great and confidence boosting, but it shouldn't be the only motivation for a workout (although there certainly are those days 🤷♀️😂). .
BUT recently I've just been focused on my lifts, my hiit warm ups and focusing on SHORT rest times and I have noticed I'm enjoying the workouts more. It is sometimes extra undue stress to worry about how you look or are gonna look post lift. Remember to enjoy your workouts for how you FEEL, not just how you LOOK. .

🔥Absolute pisser of a chest finisher today as seen from @hypertrophycoach.
Note that "finisher" doesn't mean do 40 spastic reps 🙄. Added the bench on the first part for added bracing 👍. Done after heavy straight sets per usual.
D1. SEATED CABLE FLY (shortened)
Did a 2-3 second hold on the contractions here. Short ROM, but the specific purpose here is nailing the fully contracted range. Slight internal rotation at the shoulder joint helps. Make sure you're not rounding your shoulders forward just to touch your hands closer together
D2. SEATED CABLE FLY (LENGTHENED)
Externally rotate at the shoulder joint to whatever degree is comfortable for you to get fully lengthed (that's what she said🤣) pec. Brief pause in the stretched position here
D3. CABLE REAR DELT FLY
No science here. Added this because I hit rear delts with chest 🤷♂️. Super easy way to hit small muscle groups multiple times a week.
