Our first day at Disneyland was so fun! It was wayyy crowded.. but we didn’t have any negative run-ins and it was actually really manageable! How does Disney do it. Haha.
I was kind of nervous leading up to our trip about ridges height, and him not being able to ride a lot of the rides, wondering if he would even have fun, how Juni would do, etc. basically just questioning the whole operation 😂 BUT! None of my fears even mattered or were realized! Ridge LOVED it!! There was so much to see and do and walk to! We had two days in Disneyland and didn’t even get to all of it! He was a champ and didn’t have any melt-downs. He was the best pal. Juni was her funny, robot-baby self. Seriously, she slept MAYBE an hour TOTAL during the day, both days we were at Disneyland. What 7 month old baby doesn’t sleep more than an hour during the day?? But she was so happy and pleasant and just PLEASED with all the commotion, it was so fun.
Ridge could hardly wait to meet Chewbacca, but as we were waiting for our turn in this little hidden hallway thing, he could hear him and he got a little nervous, next his huge body and hairy arm pulled this man into his room and ridge booked it!!! 😂 He started bolting it out of line! Hahaha. I die when I think about it ( it was so cute and sad. So real to him!) but we calmed him a little and brought him back, he warmed up eventually and thought chewy was awesome. Probably his favorite thing that day.
We walked almost ten miles until both kids dropped and peaced out of that place. No parade for us- the stamina you need to make it to the parade is impressive! Not this time 😂
My parents are the best party pals though! we got back to our hotel that night and kids down, after 11 we had pizza delivered to our hotel and ate it in their room like a couple of teenagers! Pizza never tasted so good. 🍕 Disney day 1 down. 👊🏻
