Today is my third day of fasting mimicking diet FMD @prolonfmd and I must say that I miss my fruits and berries the most. How to Prep Chia Seeds πŸ‘‡πŸΌ The night before you want to eat your parfait (or at least 4 hours before), mix chia seeds together with coconut milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup and a dash of sea salt. Let it sit: that’s when the magic happens. The chia seeds soften and become thick and pudding-like. When it’s ready, all you have to do is layer the chia pudding with whatever you like... oats/granola, yogurt, fruit, nuts, syrup, etc.

As promised earlier this week, here is the recipe for the raw pat bars: 1. Combine 4tbsp of chia seeds with 300ml of water. 2. Let the chia seeds sit for 10min. 3. Finely chop 20 dates then add to a pot with 3 tbsp of coconut oil. 4. In a separate bowl mix together the 400g of oats, 150g of raisins, 2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/4 tsp of nutmeg. 5. Mix in the chia seed gel then add in the date and coconut oil mix. 6. Line and Grease a tray with coconut oil. 7. Place the mixture in the tray and evenly spread out. 8. Let chill in the freezer for 10 minutes.
