Let's talk about #grief
Because sharing is a part of #healing
☯️ You are not alone 💜
It's a mind bender of emotions. It grabs you at any moment, happy or sad. And it chooses when to loosen it's grip. Yes, we can manage the extremes, the highs, lows, talk it out, move the physical aspects, but somewhere within us, the cut of grief from those traumas that marked our souls can never be completely wiped away. At our most vulnerable they can easily become tender, even though healed, they feel raw like pink scar tissue on a wound. This is the most important time to ACKNOWLEDGE and ACCEPT all of yourself. These wounds make up a part of you. You pulled through, you make your daily life a worthy cause, but you still have a past. That's okay, perfectly human. Don't hate it, or think you're going backwards. Accept it's part, allow the feelings to rise, shift, intensify and fade. Don't store or harbour. Just be in your grief... Then, when you're ready, DO SOMETHING THAT FILLS YOUR CUP. Access your emotional toolbox and think about what you need in this moment.
For me, that's 🤗 cuddles 🤗 and when little one wakes up, I'll do some ear acupuncture to help shift these thoughts further. To process them from the emotional state through other areas of my brain, which allows space for a different perspective, and perhaps a shift in my resolve. ❤️ I'd love to hear how you fill your cup, shift and heal your grief ❤️ #healnourisheducateempower
