➡ Take 5 Pie
2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels, plus more for garnish
10 tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips, melted
2/3 c. peanut butter, microwaved until pourable, plus more for garnish
1/2 c. caramel, microwaved until pourable, plus more for garnish
1 c. chopped roasted peanuts, plus more for garnish
3 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1. In a large bowl, combine pretzels, butter and sugar. Press into a 9” pie dish. Pour 1 c melted chocolate onto the bottom of the crust and smooth. Place in the refrigerator to harden.
2. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, caramel, and peanuts. Fold until ingredients are fully incorporated. Spread on top of chocolate layer and place pie back in the refrigerator.
3. Make ganache layer: Place chocolate chips in a medium heat-proof bowl. In a small sauce pan over medium heat, heat cream until it starts to simmer. Pour over chocolate and let sit 5 minutes before whisking until smooth. Pour over peanut layer and smooth with a spatula. Top with crushed pretzels, chopped peanuts, and a drizzle of caramel.
4. Let set in the refrigerator, at least 1 hour. Serve.
