Have you ever wrestled to accept change? Even the "good" change that you wanted for so long?⠀
Have you ever looked back on a previous season of your life — its unique set of problems and stressors — and thought, "Man, it was SO EASY back then. I'd take that junk over what I'm walking through now any day,"?⠀
🙋🏼♀️This was me halfway through my engagement.⠀
🙋🏼♀️This was me just two weeks out from our wedding day.⠀
🙋🏼♀️This was me the first year of our marriage.⠀
I was plagued by anxiety, panic and dread. During a time of my life that was supposed to be filled with joy and excitement and lacy white bridal showers — I was drowning.⠀
Change can do that to us, can't it? And when we walk through A LOT of change all at once, it can overwhelm us almost to the point of no return.⠀
Change has been such a HUGE part of my story — and it's evoked the good, the bad, and the ugly in me. For better or worse — change has been one of those things that's ultimately rooted me deeper and deeper into who I am in Jesus — and for that alone, I've learned to LOVE it.⠀
✨I wrote an entire book on change that released this past May. It's called "Don't Just Deal: Going from Surviving to Thriving When Everything Changes" and you can snag your copy through the link in our profile 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻 on Amazon (paperback or Kindle).⠀
Trust me — if you identify AT ALL with change being hard, if you find yourself gritting your teeth each time it heads your way — THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU.⠀
👯TAG A GIRLFRIEND who you want to dive into Don't Just Deal with! 👇
I smile because I am alive!
I smile because I am forgiven!
I smile because of Jesus!
Why do you smile?
"If you knew me, would you still love me? Can I shatter my image before you and still hold my head high? Can I undress my fears before you and won't have you leave with a deafening silence? Would you know my mess and not slam the door in my face?" Read the entire article on www.faithspen.wordpress.com or visit the link in Profile.

What’s it like to run a small business and be a new mom?...it’s hard work and a lot of new mercies every morning. I don’t normally post pictures of my daughter on my business page, but I think it’s important to let you get to know me and my daughter is such a big part of who I am! •I am usually up early, hustling during (her short) nap time, and staying up late after she goes to bed. I am learning to balance spending my free time on my business and protecting my marriage. In this season, my husband travels a lot for work which is giving me grace for the learning curve!
•Since the sunset is so late in summer, I don’t miss much time with my girl at night since she’s usually in bed when I’m leaving for a session. If it’s earlier, my husband and her tag along with us- and it’s so fun to see her smiling! •Weddings mean I’m gone longer for the day and I miss bedtime. But they are not every weekend yet (as my business continues to grow). My husband checks in with photos.
•Just a glimpse inside my somewhat crazy life these days- but I really believe I’m doing what the Lord has called me to do. I’m raising my daughter and spending precious time and moments with her, as well as sharing the gifts he has given me with others.
How do you mommas do it?

i cling to hope when things get heavy because i’ve seen Him work in my life so many times before — i didn’t know it at the time but when that man beat through the door and left bruises on my body — God was there... when i “fell down the stairs” and had a trash can thrown at me and a hole left in the wall by my head — God was there.... when i lost the baby i never got to hold and crossed off “missed abortion” on every form in my shaky hands before my surgery.... God was there... every single heavy moment mentioned and every awful moment not mentioned — God was there... so while there are times i see only how heavy something looks — i FEEL and i KNOW that God is present... that he can carry the weight for me... there are so many times in my life that i just knew i wouldn’t make it through... and i did - and i’m better... each moment transforming me and so when i’m looking ahead at all that i’m trying to carry alone - i’m reminded of all of the times where he carried ME — and i can have hope that i will be transformed again and i am not without hope... and not without Him.... and neither are you. it’s as easy as remembering all of those moments you made it through and have “no idea how”.... Him.

“Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all their days. So Jehoahaz pleaded with the Lord, and the Lord listened to him; for He saw the oppression of Israel…Then the Lord gave Israel a deliverer, so that they escaped from under the hand of the Syrians; and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents as before.” (2 Kings 13: 3-5)
Turning our backs on God, repeatedly choosing our own will and our own ways, creating idols that take His place in our lives, eventually leads to God doing the worst thing He can possibly do: letting us go, and handing us over to the fates we create for ourselves.
The God of the Old Testament is not a vengeful God; He is the same loving God of the New Testament. The closest we can come to understanding the depth of God’s love for us is in the way a parent loves their child. But Israel was a nation of wayward children, and as with all parents of wayward children who refuse to listen, God reached a point where all He could do was let them go to find their own way. This is how they ended up in the oppression of the Syrians.
But the amazing thing about our God is that, even after He had left Israel to the fate they had created for themselves, He was still right there, waiting for them to call out to Him for deliverance. His love for us is so mighty, so strong, so constant, that He is never far from us, even when we move ourselves far from Him. If He continues to show us favor when we call out to Him from afar, how much more blessed would our lives be if we stopped doing life our way, and started seeking Him?
My favorite mug fell and broke yesterday. I almost cried since its an XL size, but instead pulled out a pretty, albeit smaller mug that I got from a church rummage sale the other day. My son actually saw a yellow and black butterfly just like the one on the mug. It flew up to the window tbat he was sitting near and amused Tyler with a little dance before flying away. He was so excited! Moral of this story: enjoy all the little moments and the beauty around you. While you are chasing your dreams, stop for a moment and enjoy the butterflies. And don't cry over spilled milk or broken coffee mugs. Savor the coffee and have a beautiful day #bestlife #coffee #butterflies #seethebeauty #embracethemoment #loveyourlife #terrifictuesday #resellercommunity #christianblogger
Do you ever feel like you are “too much?” Like your worries and anxieties make you “needy” or “demanding?”
Well, let’s just say you are not alone. At the very least, this girl understands 🙋🏻♀️. And so does @melodyephillipslpc
so that’s what we are talking about on this weeks episode.
Melodye explains that we are designed for connection. That we weren’t put on this earth alone for a reason. There’s no shame in relying on others, in fact that vulnerability is often where we find God working. 🙏🏻
About a week ago I found myself feeling pretty crappy. I turned to the bible and found Job. This is such a good book in the bible and although the beginning of the book gives you context - Job is the guy that lost everything and then became very ill - people get too hooked on it because what follows is the most real conversation I’ve ever read in the bible that I can completely relate to and have had these conversations myself!
Job is broken and speaking to his friends about how he’d rather die than go through this anymore, he is filled with hopelessness. His friends spend hours talking to him about it and then God flippen shows up!! •
I don’t want to get into it too much here because you might take something totally different away, but if you’re up for it, go read Job! •

God does not always explain what He's doing in each season, but He will always deliver righteousness. We must Go in faith and step out on His promise, because His Word never fails. #iamsamuel_s #LetsGetIt
When I had my braces removed for the third time my orthodontist explained, “Teeth have a memory. They always want to go back to the way they were.” As soon as he said those words, I felt convicted. I have a tendency to go back to the way I was. We all do.

Our love for each other shows others that we follow Christ. How the body of believers relate and care for one another displays Christ’s love to everyone. Love is hard, it is not easy and it requires placing others before yourself, but out God does not call us to something He has not done himself. Jesus showed us how to love.
This picture can describe what I feel right now. And I know I'm not the only one.
While I was staring at this beautiful monument and then up at the blue sky and fluffy clouds, I felt small.
In life, right now, I'm facing so many deadlines and things to be done that I feel exactly like that. small.
Sometimes it's not even about all the things you have to do but the words people say, the things people do or the thoughts in your mind.
There are times when life seems to be throwing so many things at you, making you feel tired, stressed out, and small, maybe even insignificant.
We just started our classes and we already have lessons that are so deep and tasks that are piling up. But here's an encouragement to everyone from different walks of life, to those feeling "small". _____________________________________________________________
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
Jesus died for you. He LOVES you. And He already went through it all (every temptation, tired situation, and more) and overcame it all. You are not alone. And you can overcome.
Your problems may be big, but God is bigger✨

WHY OUR HEARTS NEED WORSHIP🌟// For the girl or woman who is struggling, our hearts were designed to connect with source of strength greater than ourselves. We worship because it was what we were beautifully & intentionally designed to do. We worship to prophecy. To speak faith & life into our beings. To move knowledge from the head to the heart. To rebuke fear by placing our attention, our hope, our everything on the one who walks on water and will again. To the Kingdom Daughter who is struggling:
"There is no wall you won't kick down
There's no lie He wont tear down
Coming after you.
Theres no shadow He won't light up.
Mountain He won't climb.
Coming after you.
Oh the never-ending, reckless love of God"
🎧Reckless Love, Cory Asbury.
We worship in spirit and IN TRUTH to speak over ourselves things that have and will and are yet to come😘
Are you a worship leader? Would love to hear your wisdom, what worship means to you, to grow & learn in community. We would be so honoured to hear from you below xx
It's not always as it seems. As I write this post I battle thoughts on whether I'm cut out for all this. I find myself shrinking back from my oh so enormous dreams and think am I really qualified for this. The mind tries to trick me into believing I am less than I am. But then I remind myself to change my perspective, replace my lenses and repeat again and again 'It's not always as it seems' •

There is no greater truth than to follow the Lord. Trust that His plans outweigh any burdens you may be facing. His love for you is like none you’ve ever experienced.
If you are a parent, an animal lover or have a deep love for someone the Lord your God, your Papa loves you 10X more. That’s a love you can’t even grasp on your best day. Lean on Him, Trust Him, for He created you and therefore knows what you need during the uncertainty life may bring your way.
Rest in Him. Pray for peace over your mind. Pray for His love to carry you. May His cloth of righteousness clothe you. May His sacrifice remind you of His perfectness so that you don’t have to strive for perfection. God loves you and this truth is all you need, all the days of your life. #Agapelove #jermiah2911 #Godislove #christianblogger #lovethyneighbor
I love hammocks. Of course, I fell getting into it this morning and quickly looked around to see if anyone saw me 😂. Fortunately, most aren’t up at 5 a.m. 🙌🏻
Praying you MAKE some quiet time today. I’ve found quietness doesn’t just happen (much) anymore, it must be pursued.👌🏻Don’t forget to sign up at www.divinelyinterrupted.com to receive the weekly Bible studies (I’m a non-spammer, for reals) via email. Or, the Sign Up link on the FB page works, too. We start Hebrews this week!
"I think sometimes we have to take a step back from all of the activity and the noise and realize it is easy to lose focus of what and who really matters. We can sing our songs, say our prayers, say “Amen” through every sermon, but when it is all said and done, never really put into practice the things we just heard and declared. A.W. Tozer said it best when he said, “Christians don’t tell lies they just go to church and sing them.”- Dustin Smith
Y’all, let me tell you something, it matters GREATLY who your role models are and it matters who you CHOOSE to inspire you and to inspire your life!
Look at the people you look up to and humbly discern whether they share the same values as you, and most importantly, whether they are headed in the same direction as you! Just because someone looks to be super successful, does not mean that, does not mean they have arrived. Like my man of God, Pastor Chris shared this weekend, it’s only when you come to Jesus Christ, that you have arrived.
Having shared all that, this weekend I had the great privilege and honor to meet women and men of GOD, who HAVE arrived! These are individuals who are clearly walking in purpose, and whose profiting is evident to all of us! Humble and God fearing, so on fire for the gospel!
Thank you @therealsinach @iamtsharp @sophiyajesus
for inspiring my life; thank you for walking in the direction of God’s word, and for manifesting what happens when you meditate upon these things and give yourself wholly to them; thank you for embodying success (fulfilling the PURPOSE for which you were created).
God bless you and God bless your ministry!

Believe it or not, you are the answer to someone’s prayers. Someone needs you. Do not deny that person because you fear you do not have what it takes. You are more than able to do what God has created you to do. Be confident in Him and step out in faith.
This webinar from last Sunday has received so much positive feedback 😯😍 I’m amazed! I’ve been deciding with my team whether to simply share the recording on my website or to hold a SEMINAR, with special guests, to teach about it all - with live streaming for those not based in the UK 🎉. A Christian Approach To Emotional Intelligence is something we should all be educated on. What do you think? Comment below 💛👇🏾
