REJOICE IN YOUR TRIALS
“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when His glory is revealed.” 1 Peter 4:12-13
This past week was brutal. There was trial after trial, and it seemed as if they were never-ending. Have you ever had weeks where it felt like there was no hope?
As Peter says in this verse, we shouldn’t be surprised when trials come our way—that’s apart of life. But how we deal with those trials say a great deal about our maturity in Christ and our ability to lean on Him instead of ourselves. God will use these trials as a test to our faith; we need to have a heavenly focus in mind, and a heart that is aimed to glorify Him in whatever comes our way.
Sisters, God is good, and He is good all the time. His sovereign will is better than what we could ever dream of, although in the moment it may seem like our whole world is tumbling down. We are not called just to endure these hardships, but also to rejoice in them, as we get an inappreciable glimpse of what Jesus endured on the cross for our sins. Let us take hope in the fact that His glory will shine throughout no matter what the circumstance. // @rae_thornhill

Blooming where you are planted is sooo much harder than typing it over a succulent photo.
/// Blooming + Flourishing is a whole nutha story and feel like such opposites. flourishing ((for plants)) depends on a favorable environment. Blooming where your planted tells you to bloom in your current environment //////
So how do we bloom + flourish? Depending + abiding on the true vine and realizing you are a wee lil branch apart and dependent on the bigger vine. Though you are just one Christ has big plans for you that you can only tap into if you abide

Friends are here to hold you steady when life flips upside down! 🤸🏽♀️🤸♂️🤸🏽♀️
So thankful for my coaching family! When things got super hard this year with my son’s autism & sensory stuff- they didn’t abandon me but they also didn’t sit there and complain about life with me.
They had their eyes on a better life, on being a better person, and in continuing to help more people.
Because they stayed UP without turning upside down too, they inspired me to do the same.
Surround yourself with positive and ambitious women that are more focused on where they are going than on all that’s going wrong or has been wrong!
To my coaching team and all my fit fam & Busy Girl Babes: Thank you for inspiring me and loving me through a dark season!
I’m planning on sharing a life IG story soon about all we did to help turn my son’s symptoms and behavior around but for now- thank you so much for being BETTER during a time when I couldn’t be my best!
Our response to the responsibility God has given us depends on our understanding and knowledge of God.
Jesus tells us a story of these 3 servants whom the master gave responsibilities to. There are so many lessons we can learn from this one story found in Matthew 25:14-30
One thing I didn't see before was the guy with the 1 talent didn't know his master well, so his response was fear and as a result he didn't put his talent to use.
The other 2 guys they knew their master well and their response was service, putting their talents to use.
God has given us all talents that we are to use for His service. But our response to this responsibility depends on our knowledge of Him. The more we know Him, the more we love Him, the more we want to serve Him.

I often forget to praise God for the body. For allowing a community that speaks truth in love. That pushes me towards obedience and genuinely desires to know my heart.
Like a lot of things we take it for granted because that something is just there. It’s available and around and there. So sometimes instead of feeling blessed we feel burdened. Burdened to serve, to know deeply, to love. This is a hard truth of our human character because it is so far from Gods.
Acts 2:42 and they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
When we became a part of Jesus’ family we were brought in to His entire body. So this morning I am remembering to be thankful, so very thankful, for not ever being alone.
When your mind and heart FINALLY shifts together = ENDLESS possibilities!!
My husband and I want to make a new video where we let you decide what we will speak about... it’s gonna be a Q&A!

Are you up late planning how to show your baby off or crying cause no one wants to come see your baby? Sis, nobody cares about how hard you worked to get this thing done. They care about content, conversations, relationships, being edified, and then they consider buying.
Does your digital marketing, social media marketing plan, and offline plan do all of this? If not that’s probably why you’re invisible and so is your dinero. Time to stop ✋🏾 crying 😭 about the money you’re not making and start marketing to make some money. #getyourinheritance

Mooddd when you don’t have to find parking because you use @lyft
— Lately I’ve been leaving my car parked, solely using them and am getting sooo spoiled with not having to drive to Downtown Dallas from Plano everyday!!! Everywhere from events, to photo shoots, and of course airport runs, they always have me covered!! Now I don’t have to learn to perfect my horrid parallel parking skills 😭😂 #Lyft #LyftDFW #Sponsored #SWIPEEE
And just like that 3rd grade is almost over and my girl, my first born, my Eva is changing right before my eyes. This was a year of victories and of perseverance, and of firsts.
There were braces and then retainers. Allergy testing and then shots, running her first 5k, her first jump on her pony and let’s not forget today’s transition to contacts. She is growing up so quickly and I just want to hold her tight and never forget where we’ve been and where we are. She was the first to awaken my heart to the fiercest calling ever and because of her I said “yes” let’s do it again. And so tonight, amidst the reminders of graduations and growing babes I’ll sit here a little wistful. I’ll fight to cement all the memories and commit to keeping her sister little as long as I can.
This is motherhood and I’d choose it all over again.
✨ the future is bright for all the ladies out there ✨

CHRIST’S SUFFICIENCY OF GRACE
"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.' Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me." 2 Corinthians 12:9
This is a verse we have recited to ourselves countless times. “His grace is sufficient,” I tell myself repeatedly, and no doubt you have done the same. Is this text, Paul is telling the readers about the thorn in his flesh that was given to him, and he pleaded with God to take it away. For whatever reason, Paul didn’t choose to elaborate on what that thorn was, but whatever it was, God did not remove it from him. Instead, God continually supplied Paul with the grace and power to endure it, while he gladly boasted about this weakness.
Just as we must face our own sinfulness and depravity to know we are in desperate need of a Savior to save us and present us righteous before a Holy God, we must admit our insufficiencies and weaknesses, so Christ’s power is perfected in those insufficiencies and weaknesses. They must become apparent, so in humility, we confess them to the Lord, and we can then go to Christ to strengthen us inwardly by His Spirit, to receive power and grace from Him to endure.
Too often we are presented with the “I am woman - hear me roar; I am strong” culture that puffs us up and tells us, as women, we can do anything, be anyone we want to be, and achieve all we dream of. I don’t know about you, but that is putting sufficiency in myself – of what I can do and do alone. If I could do anything I wanted and be all I wanted to be, I would not be a woman who is in desperate need of Christ, His strength, and His grace. I don’t take pleasure in my weaknesses because they can be painful and hard, as I am sure they are for all of us, but I do admit them and confess them to the Lord and then rejoice in the power that is revealed through them by Christ.
Let’s be satisfied with His grace. Let’s gladly boast of our weaknesses, as Paul did. Let’s admit our insufficiencies, so we can rest in Christ’s sufficiency. Through the Holy Spirit, His power resides in us. // @kellysmithkk

Cleaned out my office, so that I could have space to consciously create. While there is definitely some truth to the notion that creatives are not really organized or neat 🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️ when Pursuing Your Passion in a Godly Fashion you follow the patterns of God the Master Creator.
🗣He spoke to the chaos and then began to work and all things must be done in decency and in order. Where in your life do you need to create some order and implement structure, so that you’re more aligned with His will and have space to receive the abundance He has for you.
🌧 Abundance cannot rain in your life where there is no room or no order. Make the shift and #getyourInheritance

What have you been seeking God’s face for in regards to your business? Is there a delay and now you’re beginning to lose faith? I know how difficult it can be to hold on as you wait for God to move.
Some responses are immediate and other instances God is more concerned with growing our trust. And because He’s a trustworthy God, let’s remain hopeful (and work) while we wait. #mybusinesshisglory
Look at how inner beauty shines brightly in Franny, Nana’s granddaughter. The key is that she has received Christ and is filled with the Holy Spirit! #fruitthatlasts
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. - Galatians 5:13 (NIV)
In case you don’t know the story. Jesus met me in my shame. When I was broken from ruffled bed sheets, lost in the judgmental world, desperately trying to find my way: He stepped down from His throne and met me in my darkness.
I know I am no longer gripped by my past but my testimony is a part of who I am in Christ and whose He is in my life. It’s a powerful thing when you realize that there is no such thing as too far gone. Jesus has been there, and He will go there again for us.
Today on the blog I dive into 3 powerful scriptures where Jesus met us in our sin, and share more about this “Jesus meet me” challenge. Hop over to our profile and click the “blog” button in our link to read it.
