(2) (and maybe contact them, who knows?) and he went inside because we were making him late 😂. The show was amazing and bloody fantastic and creepy and I really loved this production. @kissofgallifrey
can tell you more about it since she had seen it thirteen times and me only two but to me, it was so much better than in Stratford because the acting had improved a lot and there were some improvisations (Macbeth sticking his tongue out to Banquo when Duncan congratulates them, Macbeth on his knees to imitate the witches on Banquo’s kids prophecy) and slight changes (witches with red dresses instead of pink pyjamas, no red carpet for the king Macbeth). As soon as you can, get yout hands on the DVD because this production is really worth it. Chris and Niamh (Lady Macbeth) and Michael (the Porter) are excellent in their parts!
After that, I rushed outside to wait for Niamh and Michael who are two of the best actors in the play. I got an autograph from Michael first. We thought that Chris wouldn’t come out through the stage door since he had the kids but he did and asked where his kids were because they had run off 😂. When he was reassured about them, he asked the fans to choose either a picture or an autograph because he was with the kids and didn’t want them to run off again. When I could, I apologised for bothering him again and asked if I could hug him. He said yes and hugged me and my new friends took pictures. And then, he said “take care” and I said “take care of yourself too”. After we hugged, his daughter saw my Macbeth shirt and loved it. She said that the blood wasn’t really blood and that it was actually full of sugar and that she loved eating it. Finally, Chris went to other fans and tried to leave with his kids.
We waited a long moment for Niamh to come out but everyone had left except her. Someone from the inside told her that we were waiting and so she came out apologising for making us wait in the cold and she accepted to sign our tickets and take pictures (I’ve regretted not having one last time!). She’s so lovely. We went to the McDo after that and ate before I went back to the hotel thanks to the help of my new friend.
