I left the USA a week ago. I'm truly saddened by the senseless killing that have taken place. Police brutality/murder of civilians and several cops shot because of their race! Specifically murded for the color of their skin. The media wants to keep fueling the racial war, it is pitting us against each other. We have to stand! White people need to speak up, by not doing anything we are supporting injustice. All lives matter.
I found out on my way to the city of Barcelona. I didn't sleep and cried all day. I visited touristy sites with a heavy heart. Yah, I put on a smile for a couple selfies, but it seemed forced. (If you like travel pics, I'll share them later). With each footstep I took, I was representing the United States of America. Are we really United as a country? I wonder as I sat reverently in the oldest cathedral in town. I couldn't stop the crocodile tears from flowing. I couldn't keep it together. When we persecute each other, we're persecuting God. We are all his creation, made In His Image. I can't tell you how much I grieved & cried for our nation.
With a redden damp face, I continued my journey and was met with the largest LGBT prade in the Mediterranean, Pride fest Barcelona. I couldn't help thinking of the largest mass killing in US history that recently took place in a Spanish Club. Once again, I weeped. Here I was on Spanish soil watching people express freedom to be themselves. This might not sit well w/ my Christian friends. Who are we to condem another, judge someone else? Jesus called us to love one another. In solidarity with those victims in Orlando, I danced, cried and danced some more. I celebrated life, non-judgment, unconditional love, the Divine in all of us...Ahimsa #LGBT #pridefest #stand #together #pridefestbarcelona #tears #nation #alllivesmatter #unity #divine #ahimsa #nonjudgement #love #orl #orlando #solidarity #barcelona #love #divine #divinelove #love #standtogether #gay #church #spirit #dance
