"A father is a man who expects is son to be as good a man as he meant to be." - Frank A. Clark
The view from the third floor isn't much, but it's more than I had the last time I was in this city. In so many ways.
When I was in Fremont, or the Bay Area in general, it was with my dad. We stayed at a Motel 6 that night, the next day visiting his cousin in Pinole. One of the things that stood out to me most about that trip was how my dad let me play all my punk compilations on the way up without batting an eye. It was a long drive, but full of good memories. This time was no different in that respect.
