Today the #GordeoPride
squad (@a_seamstress_lolita @nisphillia @sarablumperdidaentremundos
and me) was visiting Museo del Prado with the lovelies @cupcake_kamisama
(thank you so much for the guided tour!) One of my favourite classical artists is Caravaggio and there are many of his paintings in Prado but this one of Judith and Holofernes (1599) is not there, a shame... Today with this visit I remembered that back in 2011, when I was in art school studying photography, we had a project: to analyse one classical painting and then shooting our contemporary version. We needed to study the use of lightning and composition to recreate the scene. Well, this is how turned out our Caravaggio's painting! This shooting was made by @lxiana
and me and the models were mates of our school. I would love to repeat the experience, though 💜 Maybe I could use illustration too...Who knows!
