Just finished reading! This book is considered a middle grade book, but one that people of all ages can enjoy. It is told by two alternating stories, both compelling, emotional and inspirational. I loved how these seemingly unconnected stories, come together in the end. A quick read, with a big impact. I can’t wait to add this to my classroom library on Monday!
This week in art we did Picasso inspired Frankensteins! Of course, the kids had to have competitions of who’s was scariest 😂 but I love how they turned out! 💚
The beginning of the 9th week of school started out with some moments filled with wonder. See full video on YouTube. Link to channel in profile. Thanks for watching!

Teachers, do you ever take time to share silly jokes with your students? 🎃
Students, do any of your teachers ever take a break from their subject to talk to you about something else?
This sharing is the thing that brings us closer together. It’s the thing that allows us to build relationships with each other and it helps us create a space where REAL magic happens.
P.S. what’s the answer to this joke?! 😂😂😂

Learning how to effectively communicate is important for teens - not only for how they interact with their families at home, but also to strengthen their interaction with others at school and in the community. These lessons must start early, as they will continue to be applicable for the rest of their lives! Thank you @ncrconline
