A lot of people are initially scared to do box jumps because they think they won’t jump high enough and will hurt themselves.
Even I catch myself hesitate every so often - and it doesn’t help if your body is already fatigued.
BUT here is Jackie showing that she can jump the highest box.
Starting off low and comfortable, building up to the highest box.
And sure she hesitates - and she even fails (see last vid) but it does not stop her from trying again! She said #nopainnogain
😂 haha I love her determination! Sometimes you just need that extra push to follow through!
So freaking proud of her!
AND even on the highest box she has a super soft landing .👌.
Why would you want to incorporate box jumps into your workout?
1. Perfect warm up for leg days! And they will make your squats more explosive ;)
2. They will give you amazing calves!
3. They burn a ton of calories!
4. They’ll help you keep up your balance and coordination in old age!
5. They can be done without equipment! Find yourself a bench, stairs or a table and get jumping!
6. They’ll increase athletic abilities! Box jumps will help improve your vertical jump, speed and endurance, as well as increase your coordination to help excel in any sport you want to do.

If you have a strong personal brand, they can actually land on your website and they can purchase your product.💵🛒 So the good thing about having a personal brand is that you can direct people to the different businesses that you own or the different projects that you're involved, and it will be a really good idea to do so, just because of the fact that your personal brand is so big.❗⠀
Another con that personal brands have for example, is that they're not sellable, like you cannot sell a personal brand. You cannot exit a personal brand because it's tied to your name. So for example, again, going back to the example of Tony Robbins, it's going to be really hard for Tony Robbins to actually sell his Tony Robbin personal brand. But here's the thing, what you can do with a personal brand is to actually direct people and send people to businesses that are sellable.💵🚶♂️🚶♀️⬅⠀
Like for example, if I put together at some point, an agency and I want to grow that, I can do it through my personal brand but the agency doesn't have to be tied up to my name. So I can definitely go ahead and sell that, exit that business at some point. So a personal brand can be a really good platform for you to send people to your different businesses and your different projects. And actually you won't be able to exit from your personal brand but you will be able to actually exit and sell the businesses that your personal brand help fostering. So have that in mind. 🧠❗⠀

I taught her what macros are and showed her how to properly count them. She’s been steadfast in her nutrition for the last 4 weeks and hasn’t felt hungry or deprived.
She’s also been training with me 4 days a weeks. The first 2 weeks were spent focusing on mechanics, mobility, figuring out what her strengths and weaknesses are. The last 2 weeks have been ALL lifting, no cardio.

I recently had my 9 week check in, and I wanted to share an update with everyone. All of us have our own individual goals for Erin's program big and small and we are all at different stages. I always take front and back photos for my check ins but today I took a side photo for me because I looked in the mirror and was like "oh hey little baby abs coming in". Now that I am further into the program, I am seeing so many more changes to my body in addition to weight loss. And it makes me happy. Down pounds, down inches, gaining more definition, little by little. And those little changes week by week are started to amount to a bigger change overall. Hip hip hurray to this lady right here 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Let’s give her a double like ❤️❤️for her hard work and dedication. It’s been a roller coaster of a journey in learning how to adapt to a healthier and more active life style. But she’s doing it! What has made this really work is the honest communication between us. If she feels like she’s falling off with her nutrition she lets me know and I am able to help her find alternatives to where she can still be satisfied or help her change her way of thinking towards certain temptations that she will face. If something doesn’t work then we change it and figure something else out, but giving up is not on the list for us! I always say, I could only help you as much as YOU let me help you. So every time she is confused about something or feels like she’s about to give in or stuck in some type of way. She sends me a Quick text and we figure it out. I couldn’t be any more proud because I know that it’s not an easy journey. When it gets harder that’s when you should keep pushing because getting out of your comfort zone is the only thing that creates change. And not many make it past their comfort zone. Change is hard at first, messy in the middle but gorgeous at the end. So if nothing changes, then NOTHING changes. Good job girl! 👏🙌🏼 That happy dance right there...is priceless for me. •

This is my Client Mary. She trains with a handicap. Mary is Deaf.
Where most trainers would look at clients with handicaps and turn them away.... I embrace their disabilities and find the true meaning as to why I became a trainer.
Mary comes to train 1 x a week and I look forward to this day. Working with Mary has open the door for creative communication. It has allowed me to learn basic sign language, practice my short hand for notes and master my text messaging (hahaha). Other ways we communicate is through her Fitbit.
This has been essential to our training...... *it helps me teach her the high and lows of her heart rate when she is pushing herself *it allows me to assigns her workouts outside of training and tracking what I need her to. *it helps motivate her to complete a task.
I love that Mary has wanted to seek a healthier lifestyle and has not let her disability come between her and that goal.
Mostly I love that Mary has trusted me to find the best ways to make this happen.

This is Jane! We have been training together for about 13 months now. This video blows my mind. She is 63 years old and has had 3 back surgeries. The first three months we didn’t even attempt deadlifts due to physical condition. She has lost 35lbs so far and has been putting in work (we train 2x week). But every session she shows up and gives it everything. Her age or past surgeries are not putting an end to her story. This is just the beginning! Going from not deadlifting at all, starting from body weight/machine training to being able to sumo deadlift 95lbsx8 reps. And this is just one victory. This year would also be the first year she feels confident and in shape to ski this winter for the first time in 23 years. I can go on. has been training with me for 4 weeks now. The first 2 weeks were spent working on mobility and figuring out what her body could do and what her weaknesses were. She told me she wanted to get strong 💪🏻 so I said “let’s do some powerlifting”. She had never really squatted before. We tested out her “max” numbers 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago she was a wobbly 135lbs on her max squat. Today she was doing sets of 10 at 125lbs!! It’s amazing what our bodies are capable of doing when we become more in-tune with them. She’s always had the strength but now she understands how to properly recruit the muscles required to do her lifts.
