Check out Antonín Výborný's MyClimb Member Interview!
Name: Antonin Vyborny
Country: Czech Republic
What are your climbing goals?: The most important goal for me is not to get injured as I am constantly facing health issues. In January 2016, during a lead climb I dislocated my left shoulder very badly and I could not climb for about 6 months. The following year of 2017 (again in January) I dislocated it for the second time (this time I was bouldering - but at least I managed to finish that bloody V4! :-)), so again I could not climb for couple of months. As for this year (again in January) it was not a shoulder but a spine issue - I've had sciatica for couple of weeks. These issues are slowing me down from getting better, but I'll never give up... Most memorable climbing experience?: There is an Urban Boulder Race happening in our capital city - Prague every year. It is kind of street climbing (buildings, bridges, walls, sculptures etc...). It is an amazing session. There are many original, crazy and challenging problems to be solved which are very different from classic gym or outdoor bouldering problems. I am already looking forward to this year session.
What do you like most about MyClimb?: The best about MyClimb app is that it is pushing me to my limits (to climb more and work harder). Finally, I am able to track all my climbs from pretty much any location at one place.
What do you enjoy most about climbing?: Every single progress (even the smallest one) is making me extremely happy, making me feel like I am getting a better climber. There is no other sport that could make me happier
How did you start climbing?: It was my cousin who dragged me into climbing. She found a training advertisement claiming that it is suitable for IT guys as well as for young mothers who recently gave birth. That was exactly us and once I have tried climbing there was absolutely no way back and I totally fell in love with it.
Favorite Climbing Discipline:? Bouldering (mostly indoor). #MyClimb #MyClimbapp #rockclimbing #bouldering #climbingpicturesofinstagram
