with you, I realised it was never about the structure of a plan, i just had to see you and good times would cascade effortlessly, almost as if the Universe had it designed for us. it’d happen each time our atoms mingled - we’d laugh and talk and kiss and do the most bizarre things, we could even make a blizzard seem fun. that’s how I knew I wanted you for the rest of my days. life was tough, with so many decisions to make every minute but with you, I could pause and let my inner child unfurl. remember the day we talked about our future for the first time? a rustic but humble stone house with one tree as an embellishment, and our sedan parked outside. I’d started living there with you, in my mind, as soon as I’d imagined it. I couldn’t wait for the real time to catch up. there was so much left to discover with you and the miserly clockwork didn’t give us enough time. or at least that’s how it felt. .
the next morning, I sat on the kitchen counter, with my legs around you. we’d granola and milk and kisses for breakfast, and I kept quoting the climactic line from When Harry Met Sally, and you ruffled my hair like I was a silly goose. I wanted our lives together to start as soon as possible. I was so restless, that morning. besides, there were gloomy clouds looming above our heads, the kind that is relentless and would screw with your mood no matter what. you kissed me on my forehead when I asked you to take the day off, and play pretend and do nothing but you said you had to go, you really had to - and my heart dropped like the ball at Times Square on New Year’s Eve. still a week away. my gut urged me to kiss you like I was about to lose you and I did - with tear stains for my lip balm. I held you for as long as I could, swayed in your arms until you changed your mind. and I had you that day with me, and every day since.
It’s been a year. I keep tweaking the storyline. you never left in my mind but real time is a bitch, and I’m alone once again, eating up my emotions. all I had to do was stop you.. and I didn’t try hard enough. now I seem to live in a loop, trying to find a new way each time, to stop you. maybe one day it’ll work.
Before heading south to Genoa, we took a quick day trip north one hour via train from Milan to Como to eat, hike, and buy some silk.
Looking forward to getting out of London this weekend 🌳🌲 What do you have planned for the bank holiday weekend?!
Yes, off to my weekend estate □
Just kidding, I wish Moët et Chandon HQ was my home. But believe me, I took enough notes for my future home. I'll settle for a street name sign souvenir for now. Enjoy your weekend! #tgif
It’s been one day in Barcelona and I’m already madly in love with this beautiful city. ♥️
According to Condé Nast Traveler, Cape Air flies to some of the most beautiful places in the U.S., including Maine's Acadia National Park and Gay Head Light and Aquinnah Cliffs in Martha's Vineyard. Time to get out there and see the gorgeous places that are right in our backyard. Head over to @cntraveler

TGIFlowerday. To continue the theme of flowers, here’s me in a field of yellow blossoms. These are actually rapeseed, a vegetable which is part of the mustard and cabbage family and is commonly used to make vegetable oil. It grows in abundance in the UK and is a beautiful sight to behold when driving through the countryside 💛🌼 #chelseaflowershow

Starting off the weekend strong 🌞
Wrightsville Beach is one of the prettiest beaches I've been to on the East Coast! Where is your favorite beach?

Stone Chariot, Vittala Temple.
The Stone Chariot is referred to as "The Jewel of Hampi".
It was build by King Krishnadevaraya during the 16th century. It is said that he got fascinated by the Konark Sun temple chariot (in Orissa State) and decided to replicate it in #hampi
. There are only 3 such stone chariots in India, the third one in Mahabalipuram (TamilNadu state)
It appears that the chariot is one giant monolithic sculpture. However, in reality, it is actually made of many giant granite blocks. The joints of the blocks are cleverly hidden in the carvings. In front of the chariot two elephants are positioned as if they are pulling the chariot. Originally it was two horses that was part of the Stone of the chariot. These elephants later replaced the horses, though it is not clear why. The tails and rear legs of the horses can be still seen just behind the elephant sculptures.
If you zoom the picture you can see beautiful scultped mythical battle scenes on the base of the chariot.
It’s good to see you again, Seaside.
How is it I spend 13 days in Dubai where it DOES NOT RAIN, EVER, and it’s been raining for the last 2 days since I’ve been back in Nashville. 🤷🏻♀️ I miss these HOT sunny days already!
Mornings down by the sea 🌊
Dubai, where do I even begin. You’ve taught me to travel on my own, to eat by myself (something I would never do in Nashville), to not think twice about doing something, because the memories will last a life time, that it is way easier to meet new people in a country I am not familiar with (thought it would be way way harder), but most importantly, you’ve taught me to get out of my comfort zone and learn that life is short, so do what make you happy and everything else falls into place. I will miss you, but I will be back (hopefully before this year is over) so until then, stay cool!
Please forward all my mail. I am never leaving this place (you should see the pool and view, too)
When it’s 105 degrees when you wake up, cancel all your plans and go straight to The Penthouse... 🐪☀️in that Dubai pool daze 😍🌊
The heart wants what the heart wants. I ❤️ DXB #dubai
