'Amaramos Gin Fizz' #cocktail
💛 A riff on 'Ramos Gin Fizz', but enriched with tasty Almonds! A delicious frothy -Gin based- drink with Almond Milk, Lemon, Orgeat, Orange Blossom Water, Egg White & Soda.
So heavenly light & creamy, one would almost forget it has alcohol in it.
Alkkemist Gin brings a light pine taste by the juniper. (Ofcourse, Gin wouldn't be called Gin without it.) Some fruity tones present, provided by the Muscat Grapes. ☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️
Slightly sour due to the Lemon juice. And let's not forget the Citric tones of the Alkkemist Gin which complimented the Lemon of this cocktail, as well. ☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️
I'm not a fan of cream in my cocktail (surprisingly!😬). It can make the drink so heavy & greasy. In order to make this drink more my 'cup of tea', I used Almond Milk. I thought the Almonds would be a nice add to the taste palate of the Ramos Gin Fizz. ☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️
To strenghten this nutty idea of adding Almond Milk, Simple Syrup had to be substituted by Orgeat. And O. To the M. G. This was truly divine!
2 oz Alkkemist Gin
1 oz Lemon
3/4 oz Alpro Almond Milk
1/2 oz Blezzi Orgeat*
*This Orgeat was made of Pure Almond & therefore quite thick. By using another Orgeat Syrup, a larger amount is probably required. ☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️•.☆.•☁️
