The Don has been working tirelessly to bring you his Sherry Cask rum and you are now cordially invited to taste it. First aged in American Oak, ex- Bourbon casks, it is then transferred to four different types of Sherry Casks: Fino, Pedro Ximenez, Cream, and Palo Cortado, where it is aged for an additional 18 months. Bottled at 45% ABV, Sherry Cask is smooth and fruity on the nose and has an extremely long, velvety finish.
Margarita meets Bloody Mary in Stone & Earth with Altos Tequila Plata, Suze, beetroot and capsicum shrub in a vivid coloured drink with a tajin rim served up with hand-chipped clear ice.⠀
The trouble with this drink is that one is not enough.⠀
The cocktail perfectly balances agave notes with the earthy and savoury flavours from the shrub accented by the spicy tajin rim while Suze binds it together.⠀

PURE HERBS MARGARITA
- 60ml @tequilaocho
- 25ml @hierbasdelasdunas
- 20ml Lime Juice
- 15ml Ginger Syrup
- 5ml Grand Marnier
Shake all with plenty of ice, strain over crushed ice in tumbler. Garnish with a flower, some mint and edible gold. Recipe and picture by @servedbysoberon.
Tequila Ocho Blanco is a 💯% agave tequila, being as transparant as possible: labeling both the year of production and location of the field the plants were harvested from on each bottle! 🥃 I bought this Tequila after several recommendations on different occasions and I can't believe how clean and vibrant it tastes. 🌵 (Where is the Agave emoji 😭) Many of you will have noticed that Agave Spirits like Tequila and Mezcal are least represented on my account (There's just SO MUCH BOOZE to get to know and choices have to be made 🤷), yet hence the reason I can often still be incredibly wow'ed when I try something new that I like 😁.
For today's drink I also used Hierbas de las Dunas 🌿 a liqueur made from 18 herbs, plants and flowers foraged in the dunes of the North Sea. 🌅 Only fresh ingredients are used by head chef Syrco Bakker of Michelin star-restaurant Pure C 😍 for the creation of this fantastic local product (definitely more on this coming soon!).💕 Its savoury-sweet flavor profile with Maritime notes seemed like the perfect company for the Tequila Ocho.🍹 To finish things off Margarita style I added lime, ginger and Grand Marnier 🍊 and as if it wasn't royal enough, garnished it all with gold dust! ✨ ❤️ Drinkstagram, rock this new week!
