36lbs down 6 months postpartum! This journey is slightly different from the last one. My body sort of remembered what to do and has been helping me get in back in shape. With baby number four things are obviously a little more chaotic but we are getting by. (Lots of coffee) My mindset is so so different! Is it crazy to say that I actually feel so incredibly beautiful even though I have a ways to go?! You know... it’s all that #selflovery
♥️ (my husband too... he makes me feel beautiful 😍)
For family and friends that support and follow my youngests goals and dreams:
Djouvensky ended his freshman season with 220 yards on 23 carries. (9.6 yard average per carry) 1 catch for 12 yards and 3 TD's.
Super proud of his hard work and for making the most of every opportunity. Until next year!😢

Sometimes it is a good idea to REMIND ourselves just were we where. 🤔
It’s not an easy feat or done quickly. It took me 3 years to get to this point. It has been a hard and challenging road. It hasn’t all been bad though.😳
The great parts out way the bad. I have energy, a dream, goals, I am comfortable in my skin and I am confident. Plus I have made friends and a family that help me through the hard times and cheer for me in the good times. 😊
I don’t have to hide anymore. I don’t have to use the excuses of being a busy mom anymore. I realize I can find the time. So can you!! You just need to start.😆
Surprise!! You can do hard things! 😍 I know I’m the first to doubt myself and the first to doubt myself and often times look at challenges and think there is no way I could do it. But I CAN! And so can you! ❤️ Three years ago I was a new mom who was so excited about the new adventure of being a mom and loving every minute of Mom life. I was sitting on the floor with my little man when I realized I needed to make a change for myself because I wasn’t as happy as I wanted to be and I felt the “Mom blah” sink in! I knew I had more to give and I knew I needed to make a change to be a better mamma! Now I’m able to take care of me and believe in myself while being the best mom I can be to my little boys! 😍
I made a decision 3 years ago that changed my life and created a happier healthier version of me and I couldn’t be more thankful!
There are days where we feel like we want to quit the whole “mom” thing. Days where motherhood feels tough and babies seem like more than we signed up for. Yet, within us our hearts swell with exuding love for our little ones, for our families, for our homes even on the hardest days. We are indeed, the heart of the home. Keep moving forward 😘
Depression can hit the biggest, baddest, toughest people. I know because several of my loved ones have experience with it. One of those being me and another my oldest son. I got to go hang with Austin after his workout last night and we had the opportunity to talk about how being intentional about what we eat and making sure we work out everyday has helped both of us with this in the past. With another cold, dark NW winter upon us, it is a priority to both of us to make sure that we stay mentally healthy by taking care of ourselves every day. Working out creates natural endorphins that help fight off depression and can help with positivity and create energy. Working out regularly has been known to reduce stress and anxiety. (My #1
reason to move for 30min a day) I've also found it helps with sleep too.
Let me be clear, I am not saying it is the cure for all types and forms of depression. Some need to be treated by a doctor and I firmly believe there is no shame in admitting that and getting the help that is needed. But for me exercising is a must! I have noticed a radical difference in not only my life but also my son's by adding in exercise and good nutrition daily.
If you are not already doing it... give it a try! This time of year is the perfect time to add in 30 minutes a day to ward off those seasonal blues!
Drop me a ❤ if you need suggestions!❄🌫🌨🌦 #pacificnw #darkat4ugh #move4sanity
Someone finally got a haircut! 💇♂️
I've cut my boys' hair for years, but I've finally come to the conclusion that I seriously suck at it. 😂🤷♀️
This is how you can find me most days, my mom uniform. Sweater, jeans, tshirt or tank top, hair in a bun and coffee in hand. Mom life is busy, I feel like it's always go go with two littles. I wouldn't change it for the world, I have always dreamed of being Mama.
Now, in order for me to take care of my family I need to take care of me too. While coffee is needed to fuel me sometimes, and in all honesty I love coffee I also need to do something for me. My self care is my workout. I need it. I crave it. I get my sweat on and get those endorphins pumping and my energy is ready for the day. I know I can conquer anything this mom life has to throw at me.
I feel good, I have energy, I have patience. It's all about balance. Working out, eating healthy and getting my superfoods makes me feel good and I could not imagine not doing it.
Don't you deserve to feel this good? Have you taken care of you? What do you do?
I have spaces available in my virtual challenge group left. I'm here to support you, and keep each other accountable. Let's do this together! Drop me an emoji, comment or DM. .

When my desire to be better than I was yesterday, became greater than my excuses to stay the same....I found the Kari I was meant to be💗
Stronger and more energetic for my son. Confident and healthier for me. Letting go of the guilt of putting in time for myself changed so much for me. I can definitely say one of the best decisions I’ve made. 💗
It’s come from consistent small decisions each day. It hasn’t come from perfection. I just do the best I can! I’m no different than anyone else. I LOVE good food. I’m tired in the mornings and I have to push myself some days to make the better choices! BUT My health is important to me and I do the best I can... overtime it’s paid off. Be patient with yourselves. It doesn’t happen overnight but one day you’ll look back at a before picture and be so proud of how far you have come! 💗
Ladies, all of journeys may look different. We each have our busy lives but finding something that works for you is what is important. For me, working out home 30 minutes per day has worked for me! you’re SO BEAUTIFUL even when I can only see a tiny sliver of your face 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 #happybirthday
Do you ever feel like Monday’s are so intense, by Tuesday you feel like you’ve lived a week? I recognize the feelings: my neck is tight, my words are sharp, my mood less generous (and that’s a mild way if putting it 😂) On those days, I want less clutter in my house and less to do in my day so I can clear my mind and breathe! Today I’m spending a little bit of time purging. I’m taking a tip from Albert Einstein: “Three Rules of Work: Out of clutter find simplicity; From discord find harmony; In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” #bepresent #mindsetshift #livewithless
Do you see the HydraFacial device in the background?! Don’t you just want to make out with her???? I do. 💋 OMGGGGGGG! WAITTTTT!!!!!Glam Girls!!!! I haven’t freaking named her yet!!! What should her name be???? It’s gotta be something sexy AF.

HALFWAY THERE!! Today is a huge milestone for me, I am halfway done with this program! Discipline is choosing between what you want and what you want most. This road isn't easy, waking up at 415AM isn't fun, and the workouts are challenging; but this is what I want most: to feel amazing, to look just as good as I feel, to be healthy, happy, motivated, energized. If this road takes me there, you bet your 🍑 I'll wake up an hour earlier, choose to eat healthy most of the time, and to feel uncomfortable. This is how dreams come true.

Did you know that one of the reasons I got into coaching is that it forces me to stay accountable?
There is no disappearing in sidelines when others are depending on you to lead (not always perfectly, but showing up still the same). I learned early on in after participating in my first success group that the secret sauce to my success was community - and I was determined that I was going to keep myself surrounded by like minded women who are taking it day by day just like me. Coaching has allowed me to find my tribe whom with I can stay accountable with - who will seek me out if I don't show up.
I'm excited to share my journey and if your radar is going off because you've have been looking for an opportunity just like this - then like this post and let's talk!
Hmmmmm only 93%??? I wonder what the other 7% is?? 😂🤷🏻♀️☕️
It’s the little things that make us realize we need to cherish them. For me it is getting to spend a few minutes with my daughter before school on the days I go in late or I am off. It’s also the time I get to spend with my oldest when I am off. It’s getting my workouts in no matter what each day. It’s getting school work done or working on my business. All these things make me realize just how those small moments are worth the long days and the hard times.

It's time for an advice column Renaissance. I present to you the #DearMomDiary
. Feel like you are losing your shit? BFF causing drama? Hubby doesn't notice you except at dinner time? In-laws got you down? Dear Mom Diary will help you figure shit out. ☕🤷😬
Link is in profile.
The other day a friend texted me. She said: “Advice, Sarah
Omigosh I find myself comparing my house, etc. with other mom's ?! Advice, words of wisdom??” How often do we all compare ourselves to other people’s lives? On social media, in real life, in magazines and movies and heck for me even commercials 🙄! My house, my parenting, my body…there was so much insecurity floating around inside me.
This was my response. And I thought others could use the reminder. “But remember that what you see is just a snap shot of peoples lives. Like, I know when I have a play date or friends over I frantically run around and clean and organize where I know people will be, but that by no means is what my house looks like daily. Same with pictures. You see what people want you to see. You have to remember that as long as how your house is is safe and healthy and works for your family then it is right. Also remember that someone out there probably looks at your house the same way and compares theirs to yours.
Have confidence in what you do. It is who you are as a family and that means it's exactly how it should be. That's what makes it special and makes it feel like home to you, your hubby and your kids.” Your differences make you special! And we need more special in the world! 😘
You are the literal light of my life Presleigh Jane. 💕
Today I worked really hard at being positive, calm, silly, friendly, and loving at home with my kids. It was really hard and I broke once but I feel like I did a stand up job! And do you know what happened? I moved a tiny needle in my business, learned how to use my Mac better, my son accomplished everything on his responsibility chart, I made a healthy dinner and it was tasty, and my husband was home at an awesome time! 🤔hmmm... did I mention I started my period today? HA! Now you’re impressed! Lol!
Let’s see what happens tomorrow! Curious? Me too lol.
Why do we play the comparison game
I used to do it all the time. I compared my abs after 3 boys with people who had a six pack. I would compare my larger butt with someone’s very lifted muscular one. It was exhausting and self defeating
Then I realized I needed to embrace who I am-flaws and all. I can work on what I want to improve, but not compare my progress to others
Don’t get me wrong, I still have moments where I struggle or feel a bit insecure, but overall, I know who I am and what I want from life
Comparison is so defeating and can keep you from reaching your full potential. Find a way to embrace who you are and appreciate where you are in this journey!
My final podcast episode for 2018 is up! This collaboration with @sandiegomomsblog
was so badass and I’m so excited to share these 2 amazing interviews with you!
I first chat with Michelle @michmilla
who opens up about how hard it is to be a Navy wife and talks about how it affects her mental health and we also talk about all the things she does to take care of herself more.
We then hang out with Daphne @mommyiloveyousobig
and chat about her decision to take medication and about how the discussion around taking medication needs to be less stigmatized.
You can listen to these two amazing women on iTunes and/or Google Play or by clicking the link in my bio☝🏽💓
Change is Contagious! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
Almost 4 years ago - when I started my fitness journey - I NEVER would have posted these pictures! I was self conscious enough about not being able to fit into my size 6 jeans from college - let alone share my stretch mark/ loose skin baby body with the world.....but I want to send a message to women out there who think that they are: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
✖️Too far gone to start.
✖️Not capable of challenging themselves.
✖️Not able to get their body back after baby.
✖️Not strong enough to say no to the sugar. ✖️Not capable of so much more than they could ever imagine! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
I grew up not having an athletic bone in my body. Choir - Drama - Band geek over here 🎶 Your focus shouldn’t always be on where you came from - but more about WHERE you are going. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
If you’re ready to: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
◾️Make a change.
◾️Push yourself past your comfort zone.
◾️Prove yourself wrong.
◾️Put yourself 1st.....I want....no NEED you to join me! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
Jan 1st at 12:00am is not a Cinderella story...there is no magic spell that is cast upon you to be motivated or to make a mysterious mental shift ... it’s YOUR choice to make a change. And when you see that change - & mark my words - it WILL be contagious & you WILL want to keep pushing yourself to see what you are really made of! ⭐️ ➡️ Join me before the New Year & fill out the link in my Bio. Or just message me & we can chat 💭 Let’s do this together 💜!

I always have in my mind that I’m raising a boy that will someday be one lucky girls husband. Therefore, I must fill his heart with love, compassion, trust and joy. 💙
I know I will be proud of who he will become! He is my constant motivation to be the best mommy, and I want him to be proud of ME too! ❤️
Where are all my moms at? What are your parenting tips for raising a toddler today?? 🤔

Not going to lie...Mondays are hard! But Mondays also set the tone for the week, so I never skip a monday sweat sesh!!
Super glad I have my accountability group to encourage and motivate me on the hard days!! If you need that kind of motivation... you know where to find me!😍
Day 26 of self love: what is one of the first things that gets you excited in the morning? ... ... ☕ I am obviously going to give this one to coffee. That first sip of coffee in the morning is true happiness. With coffee, I can tackle anything. #amirite
These two boys... when they're sweet, they're really sweet. But when they're feeling ornery, watch out! 😂
They're so much alike it's crazy! And the older they get, the more I think they look alike, too!
Do your kids look alike?
Being a working mom doesn’t mean you get to stop being a mom!
So when @peytongracerankin
felt sick yesterday I was so happy to know that today was a day off!
Cue snuggles, Netflix, and the largest coffee cup I own!
Mmm coffee! What's in your cup?
Sometimes life isn’t easy and sometimes it’s stressful. But my best advice to you is to enjoy the journey. Even when it’s tough try and find the good and blessings in the challenges. ☺️ Happy Monday to you all! ❤️
Wait for your finally....when you find it, I promise you will know ❤
When we want to be “healthy and fit” it seems like first comes exercise, then nutrition. But not only is their a missing link, but we also think about it backwards. Let’s take a step back, here is what I mean.
Workouts are great and all, certainly an important piece of the puzzle, and frankly it’s the easiest and what people think is the quickest fix! But it’s the smallest portion.
Nutrition is hard! But is more important to health and weight loss that working out. We live in a society that values food to celebrate, but we need to Change our MINDSET!!! Oh wait what was that? I’ll say it again, we need to change our MINDSET!! You want to lose weight? You want to be healthy and fit? You want to be strong? You want to have more energy and time? It all starts with with mind.
STOP putting yourself down, STOP telling yourself I wish I could, STOP beating yourself up when you fail. START taking care of your mind, change yourself talk and the rest will follow.
With Thanksgiving and other holidays around the corner, how are you prepared to handle family, friend, or even work stresses? Do you have someone to forgive so YOU can live your best life?
This is an NSV that I wanted to share to let you know I struggle right there with you! I went to the mall Friday to purchase a sweater that I have had my eye on. I looked for a large in the color I wanted and was crushed to see they only had medium size. I sadly grabbed a different color and headed to the dressing room. I FORCED myself to go back to the rack and grab the color I wanted in a medium as well, "for back up~ because maybe." I ended up walking out with two size mediums!! Here's the deal ladies, I share this because... Shopping is still incredibly hard for me in my new self! I have co-workers who are now insisting that I need to go shopping for jeans because the pants I'm wearing to work you can grab the butt of them and still not touch me physically. I have not been a size medium in over 25 years so it is incredibly weird to go shopping! This is something I never would have thought would be a hardship.😂 don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, or looking for compliments...I'm just admitting mentally this is a lot harder than I thought it would be to go shopping for myself. I have had an unhealthy relationship with food for YEARS! I knew if I made changes, that physically things would change. I was not prepared however for the mental game weight plays with us. I still struggle to see my hard work and effort. I AM a work in progress. And I AM still working on self love and accepting myself at all the stages. It's a huge priority for me personally and for me to share with my team. Loving ourselves as we are now on the journey to becoming the healthiest we can be! It is SO important! If you want to be apart of this amazing group, then drop me a 🙋♀️ and i'll give you the scoop. Now IS the perfect time. There is NO better time. Don't wait for the New Year to start on you when you can ring in the New Year a BETTER you!!💖
