Thanks for having us, Tassy!
If there's such a thing as "TAS MANIA"; then we've got it!
From it's beautiful and wild countryside and forests, to its pristine, crystal clear waters, every landscape was stunning. 😍
Few things I learnt about Tasmania and its inhabitants: * They are extremely friendly. I thought moving from Sydney to Melbourne that Melbournians were friendly - Tasmanians are next level! You'll end up knowing Beryl and Robbo's life stories by the end of the conversation * You'll RARELY find a male without a can or bottle of beer with a stubby holder around it in his hand. #candrink
* Tasmania is very clean, and they ensure that it is kept that way. There's signs to "dob in a tosser" (keep it clean - pun intended) everywhere. Beaches, land, you name it, its clean! * There's only 3 species of snake 🐍 in Tassy: Tiger Snake, Copperhead , and White-lipped snakes. All 3 are highly venomous, and the Tiger and Copperhead are in the top 10 most venomous snakes in the world 🌎😱 * Hobart and Launceston are a mix between San Francisco and Cape Town. Old school houses are on hills with mountains and land in the background, and the ocean at the bottom. Perfect for those (like me) that want the best of both worlds. 🙋🏽 So many places have countryside on one side, and ocean on the other 👌🏽 * The possums are BIG. I mean mistake them for a cat or Tasmanian Devil kinda big. They have a zero f*cks given attitude when it comes to trying to steal your food. #nottoday
🙅🏽 * Food, coffee and petrol are just as, if not a little bit more expensive than Melbourne and Sydney. Coffee is great, though! •
