🃏Depression & Anxiety are just another diseases that need to be treated but not to be ashamed of.
I recently went through a DM that's saying that my life is so perfect and I am lucky. But all I have to say is, what you see is, what I show. Life that I'm living in your eyes is not the fullest part of my life. I've been through hell and back. I am still trying to fight against depression and not everyone knows about it.
There were the days, I decided to put everything that I feel on my FB wall because I seriously craved attention when I'm mentally weak and I wasn't ashamed of it. Sharing your illness ain't a thing to be ashamed of. But, at a point when I realized that nobody really cares, I restricted my privacy among the very closest people around me and sometimes the dealings and convos about my depression is just between myself & God. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
🎃I have been too attached to certain people in life and I had a phase in life that I realized that I should learned to be alone and practice loneliness. Right now in my life, I am too good at spending myself alone. I sit down all alone at a cafe, I enjoy my coffee and I am almost addicted to the #selfdate
now. At the beginning, the look these Asian people throw at a lonely girl mattered me a lot, but I really don't mind them anymore and I'm used to it. Being alone is often a medication to me and it's sometimes my own worst enemy that breaks me down and brings all the unaddressed pains through the tears and at that moment, breathing becomes the hardest thing in life. Sadly, not everyone around you realize or understand the phase you're going through.
