One week from today!!! Free Thanksgiving donations-based workout @endorphindenver
Eastbridge. All proceeds go to @projectangelheart
In August, my amazing mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. When she had her surgery in September, I flew out to be with her during recovery. While I was there, one of the biggest ways I wanted to support and help out was by cooking and preparing healthy meals. If you know me, this is what I love to do, and I truly believe that hearty, nutritious meals help support the healing and recovery process in most situations. After I left, so many amazing friends and family stepped up and brought meals as well, but I think about people that do not have that consistent support during those difficult times.....
This is what this wonderful, non-profit organization @projectangelheart
does. They make home-made, healthy meals for people with severe illnesses. .
Let’s workout for a great cause and support by helping to give others a better holiday season ☺️ ❤️Sign up at myendorphin.com Spots are filling up fast! So excited! .

Dramatic skies over Chimney Rock. While driving out of the Weminuche Wilderness on west Owl Creek Pass Rd near Ridgeway Colorado this scene caught my eye. Immediately coming to a stop for a better look led to a very steep hike up the hillside just above the road to find this perspective. Sadly after patiently waiting for the weather to clear I walked away with mostly ordinary flat looking photos. While packing up to make my way back to the car I was thinking it sure would be nice if some fog would shroud the peaks of Chimney Rock. After winding around the second bend further down the road I took one last peek at the scene to find it being modestly covered in a dramatic shroud of clouds. Quickly reversing the vehicle and making my way back to where I thought I had originally set up led to the wrong hillside but eventually arrived at the right place for a second shoot. Scurried up the hillside once again to discover the mountain completely enclosed in clouds. My heart sank but I thought this will open up again. With a commitment to wait til sundown in hopes that it would ...well as you can see ... after about an hour it did! Prints available. See link in bio or go to richardraul.com

Which animal reminds you of aspens?
Here is a practice that is saving me in this packed full and spread wide school year: the practice of holding one thing at a time.
Rather than multitasking, rather than doing all my tasks distracted, phone in hand, rather than jumping from thing to thing until my brain is stretched thin, I am holding one thing at a time. I take up a single task and look at it in the face. I work at it with my full attention until the time is up. And then I set it down and pick up the next task.
It is the kindest thing I can do for myself these days. It’s the gentlest way to reign in my mind’s millions of tangents. It’s the best way I know to hold all the abundance of this rich life in my hands without letting spill through my fingers.
I’m unfolding this idea of holding one thing at a time on the blog this week, I hope you’ll join me there. (Link’s in profile!)
