My favorite time of the year to hike is Autumn in Colorado. Early morning, October 2018 on the CDT/CT.
What happened today in the Denver studio..... Another layer on Aspen on brown #2
This is a detail shot One of the trees from my favorite of four current commissions I’m working on.
I just love how the paint crackled on its own in this piece. #aspen #denverartgallery
Still not able to get a photo with true colors to show you.
The background is navy, brown and gold. The lighting in the studio makes it look very dark. This piece is just too big for me to carry up the stairs at this time to take a picture of, but maybe if you zoom in you can see some of the beautiful colors in the background and in the trees. The trees are beautifully crackled. The two on blue have very straight strong trees as per the buyers request and the ones on brown have curvy more whimsical trees as per the buyers request. The two blue pieces will be in one room and the two brown pieces in another.
I will get photos with more accurate colors once I have some help getting them out into the daylight:)
I did add some detail shots on my Facebook page that show the colors a bit better.
What’s happening in the Denver studio..... tree placement on Aspen commission number four.

This is why as both an art marketing coach and an artist I hold FIRMLY to the fact that blogging is NOT dead. Every corporate, hotel, restaurant......hospitality contract I have had over the past 10 years has come the same way. Blogging consistently is your vehicle for getting your name, keywords and images to show up in the search engines, so that when someone is searching for something you do- they find you.
Even though I have a brick and mortar gallery in the heart of Denver, 80% of my annual sales still come through the web! What a wonderful time we live in as artists, that through the internet, we can reach the whole world:)
