Judy Cournoyer’s wonderful colored pencil drawing of Rhododendrons. Cropped framed painting so it has some shadows but, drawing is so rich it still shows well. It’s at the Fresh Paint Artists Studio at Cultural Center of Cape Cod in So. Yarmouth. Judy can draw!! #coloredpencil#drawing#floraldrawing#flowers
it’s been so long since i’ve done a full color pencil portrait next month when i’m back in my studio i’m going to force myself to try again. full color palettes are something i’ve always struggled with and i find that my drawings are too flat but like with anything ya gotta just keep practicing ya know?
I completely forgot to post this sorry guys😅 It’s that time of year again and I’m not talking about Christmas I’m talking about MIDTERMS 😭😭 so I’m gonna be a bit inactive. Anyways let me talk about the piece:
I started drawing little scribbles cause I was angry then I turned it happy with the suns and stuff so it was a mix of stress and childhood memories. I’m always scared about life forcing me to grow up and how unpredictable and stressful the future is. So this demon girl is supposed to be like bad vibes corrupting childhood and good vibes. Yeah midterms make me angsty but I’m fine.
Improvment post! This is how much I have improved over this year! The first bad drawings are from earlier this year and the other two are my recent ones! I'm improving everyday but I can improve even more!
two year improvement! the second slide was drawn two years ago when i was a freshman, and i remember being so proud of it at the time. i started redrawing it about a month ago and had to completely restart since i was using crappy paper that didn’t let me color the sky, but i like the way it turned out
