In a way, we've all created uniforms for ourselves based on our own personalities, needs and desires. In conceptualizing Rallier, I was deeply inspired by this notion of modern uniform dressing as a vehicle for women to define their presence on their own terms. ➖ Our founder, Olivia, via Forbes

In my high school yearbook grad write-up, I said I wanted to change the fashion industry by making clothes for EVERYONE. I wanted the industry to be more inclusive and more kind. FFWD 20 years, and here we are. I created Age of Thrift because I never enjoyed sewing enough to create a collection of clothes but, increasingly, I came to appreciate Style. Style, that thing we all have. That thing which expresses our unique beauty. Our individual self. Style, the self portrait constructed with clothes. Fashion tells us what to wear. Styles tells us wear what you want. We are so happy to be moving forward as a seller! We had our first pop-up at a private event on Sunday and it was damn fun. Thank you so much to the wonderful humans who supported our first show. 💓 We are a seller of a carefully selected collection of secondhand sustainable classics & on trend, vintage & designer, pre-loved & never-worn, reworked & upcycled. All sizes, all styles, all genders, all ages at great prices. Delivery & pick up in #YYC
. National & international delivery through Depop. Check out our Depop shop (link in bio) for the collection. And thank you all for your support as we grow and reach for our dreams.

The best kind of corner is one that’s full of life.
Traveling really does help to give you perspective on life. Brandon & I haven’t travelled much outside North America in our lifetimes but our recent trip to Iceland really helped us get out of our Canadian “bubble” & experience a different way of life.
Below is a list of things we noticed loved about Iceland & it’s culture from a green-living perspective in comparison to what we see in Canada:
▪️ There is very little to no trash noticeable on the sides of the roads anywhere (except for maybe a little in the cities but nothing compared to what you will notice on the roads & parks all across Ontario). Overall, Iceland seems to be a very clean country & the only places we saw litter on this beautiful landscape was in areas with higher densities of humans (specifically tourists).
▪️ Icelanders don’t seem to have a “take-away” culture like we do in Canada. We saw only a handful of drive-through restaurants & no big chain fast-food restaurants like McDonald’s or Starbucks (we did see Subway restaurants). From what we saw and heard from locals, Icelanders will typically sit down with friends & family in a cafe to have a coffee or dinner vs. grabbing things to-go. This means a lot less trash is created because reusable cutlery, plates, mugs, etc. are used & reused. Little to no disposable packaging required! .
▪️ There are next to no billboards in Iceland! In Canada we pass these massive advertisements every couple kms on the highways & every few meters in the cities it seems but we only saw a handful of these within the city limits in Iceland. Even then, they were very few & far between. We wondered if this was intentional because this would take away from the natural beauty that Iceland is known for or if it’s because they don’t seem to have as much of a consumer culture.
▪️ There are no advertisements in or on their city busses! Every public transit bus I’ve been on in Ontario is plastered with ads, encouraging & promoting our consumer culture in Canada.
This was our first trip since becoming aware of our global waste problem & since starting our journey to a #zerowaste
life. Stay tuned for more about our attempted #zerowastetravel
Orange ya glad I didn’t post another angled building photo? 🍊
Instead of using takeaway coffee cups, here's an idea! Use a coconut ☕
Who says you can’t get creative while being eco-friendly? 😊
Gel nails are a game changer. 💅
Oh hello September!
I frankly can’t wait for my bambinos to go back to (for Jack) and start (for Matilda) preschool. With it comes all the accoutrements children need to feed and water them 😍
I’m very much a ‘make do and mend + waste not want not’ kind of Maman. Whilst they are young, I don’t see the point of spending out when I have stuff at home to use, yes some of the items you see are plastic! But not single-use disposables they are all reusable, as we all know, plastic lasts for centuries!
If you haven’t already for you and anyone you know big or small, buy👉🏼
water bottle, any shape or size depending on how much water 💦 you drink.
✅reusable snack pouches from @nomnomkids
brilliant for cutting back on yoghurt pots. Buy a big tub and refill a pouch or for smoothies ✅ditch single use plastic wrapped biscuits and fill a pouch with homemade flapjack, nuts 🥜 or similar
✅use Tupperware pots for lunchbox additions like 🥒 chickpea ‘crisps’ I use a Christmas pudding pot from 3 years ago as one
Going Plastic free takes more prep time sure but it’s so worth it. We have no planet b so put the effort in. Your spending power counts in making manufacturers of single-use plastic snacks change 👊🏻£££ #ditchsingleuseplastic #plasticfreeparenting

Pantry goals 😍 my kitchen is taking shape and I am finally beginning to place everything into it. On things wanted to have is a high line cupboard to act as a pantry cupboard where I can store all my ingredients. This is one of the drawers in my “pantry” cupboard - all filled with ingredients from @theunwrappedshop
to lower our effect on the environment 🌱 🌍
Thanks for all your great advice and comments yesterday! You gave us some great suggestions for places to stock in London and we’ll be following them up in the next couple of weeks.
We’re so so great-full to all of you for supporting us on this journey, we couldn’t do this without you! THANKYOU!
You’re gonna need a bigger suitcase... ✈️🙈
Artisan products shouldn’t have borders. Follow along for the adventure!
What a beautiful picture at first glance - but ... If we don’t change our consumption, there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans by 2050.
What can we do? I started trying to follow the 5 R´s from @zerowastehome.
I know this sounds a lot but I try to take it step by step - otherwise it just seems way too overwhelming … and: every little step helps!
🌿Refuse: say no to single-use-plastic
🌿Reduce the overall consumption
🌿Reuse (&repair): Instead of disposables - why not reusables?
🌿Recycle: Separate left over trash so the resource can be used again 🌿Rot: your kitchen scraps can turn into good soil.
Are you already familiar with the 5 R‘s?

Our MATCHA SUPERIOR is ideal for the Cha-No-Yu ceremony, although you are free to enjoy it as you like.

〰 Making fewer collections means doing less of the creative process 〰 Searching for inspiration, colours, making moodboards, putting all together in one theme✨. Sometimes I do miss this, and my creative side makes me want to add many new products or ideas to each new season. However, only a few of these come to life because it's really important for me not only to express myself with my collections, but to create key pieces for your wardrobe. Caring about every detail, used fabrics and chosen colours.
These last weeks I have been working on the Autumn/Winter collection, where, like in the last summer season, I will only add a few new pieces (like a coat with that beautiful green fluffy fabric💚) or new colours to your favourites like the park pullover. But making fewer pieces doesn't mean less excitement...I can't wait to have them all ready, do the photo-shoot and show you everything!
