This is a story of love, romance, horror, tragedy and finally a peaceful closure. .⭕.
Being back in pakistan after 2 years, i feel really rusted at desi shopping. As an ex guide of yesteryears to so many foreign returned relatives in all kinds of local shopping, i felt confident to rely on my gut feeling🙃. .⭕.
So when i saw this gorgeous set in dull gold at one of my already tried and tested designer outlet, i grabbed it at a good deal, although still expensive for an artificial set but 20%off and an additional discount (which i would say was my personal charm🙃). .⭕.
The next day i had a chance to go to the infamous #dupatta
guli and guess what to my utmost horror, every other shop had a set or a piece of jewelry (swipe to see)...similar to this one half the price. .⭕.
I almost cried and went back to so called designer outlet and did hocus pocus of the two sets in a very depressing mood. .⭕.
So there was ofcourse a major difference for the trained eyes but seeing a knock off of my piece...selling like dime a dozen was heartbreaking. But the differences really made a difference in my mood
The morals of this story is: ✔Dont rush to buy anything, till you see the entire market. ✔For the designer shops, they also need to market research and only put exclusive stuff for which we are willing to pay a premium. ✔Dont be disheartened, a copy is a copy.
