Well done to Paul & Gary today in our armbalancing workshop. Today we focused on using props to assist with the holds. The distance between the arms is super important in poses like downward dog, wheel and crow (shown in the pics). If the elbows tend to go out toward the side, use a strap. Loop the strap through the buckle and tighten around the arms at shoulder width. Inhale and come into the posture - whether you're trying this with downward dog, wheel or crow pose and side crow. Doubt. It’s a powerful thing that can hinder you from your full potential. I had steered clear from box jumps due to a knee injury from clearing 44” jump months ago. The first 3 today were a piece of cake but that 36” one was a challenge...I pulled back about 5 times during my 7 reps. I easily cleared it but it was in my head that I couldn’t clear it.
