Sometimes my skin really comes through for me. My tips:
5. ALWAYS wear SPF
1️⃣. I drink water with almost everything I eat. I don’t care for soda or juice. I dilute my juice with water all the time depending on the sugar per serving. Once in a blue I’ll have a ginger ale.
2️⃣. I have been blessed by the heavens and universe to be able to sleep 4 hours and still function well throughout my day. But I make sure I listen to my body and what it needs. Some days I make sure I get my full 8 when I know I need it or I make sure to squeeze in my power naps!
3️⃣. On a good week I do yoga 4-5 a week and weight training 2-3 a week. Sometimes I fall off but it’s important to know even if you fall off you can always start again. Just build good habits.
4️⃣. I try to be mindful of what I eat. I stay away from fast food. And try to eat nutrient rich foods. Meal prepping helps big time. When I eat pizza and or fries during the week, I make sure I enjoy every single bite. But I know I have to make up for it by making healthier choices for the rest of the week and hitting the gym.
5️⃣. I always wear SPF because I have hyperpigmentation on my skin from previously being on birth control (never again), getting off it and my hormones getting all out of wack and as a result my skin broke out. I’ve always had clear skin but I hit a wall when that happened. I went back to basics and used a simple cleanser, DIY face masks and SPF to prevent my dark spots from darkening again while being out. Thought you were safe on cloudy days? Think again! Even when it is cloudy, the sun rays are still hitting your skin AND when it snows, the sun rays reflect off the snow and bounce to your face! ▪️
❗️BONUS: I stopped popping my pimples. Idc how big how red, how much puss is inside. I don’t pick it. @peaceoutskincare
is a game changer for me. They are not sponsoring me, this is not an ad. I just really love their peace out acne dots. Check them out. (You can buy it at Sephora)
Be patient, be consistent, and treat your body with love. It’ll thank you by being more efficient for you. 😉
