(LOUD SCREAMING FROM A DISTANCE)
So anyway here’s my impossible to photograph staff WIP for Marcille. It is... COMING ALONG...
Tested out a section of it using hot glue as texture and NOT SUPER SURE HOW I FEEL ABOUT IT DUDES.
(Goes back and covers everything with more yarn and tissue paper) THIS IS FINE.
Today it was a potato beach day! I didn't went in the wather and swim at the end, because I was afraid of sea urchins (there was some here and there) 😂 but it was awesome just chill and enjoy the nice weather. We took some professional photos as well😉

"A famous explorer once said, that the extraordinary is in what we do, not who we are. I'd finally set out to make my mark; to find adventure. But instead adventure found me. In our darkest moments, when life flashes before us, we find something; Something that keeps us going. Something that pushes us" - Lara Croft

"This is an adder stone. The hole eroded naturally at the bottom of a river. It will help to protect you; wear it always."- Elias Ainsworth
I'm really proud f how this turned out. I didn't want it perfect, I wanted imperfections and to look like as much of a rock as I could make it.
The Adder stone: I grew up hearing it called a hag stone by there are quite a few other names it is known by. There are three tales about how it is formed; I grew up learning like Chise was told: it forms naturally by water eroding the center away. Looking through the center enables one to see the fae, but there are other beliefs of the stone.
I would have loved to have a real one for this cosplay but when you can't afford you make with what you have so this is just a prop.
