got a hell of a lot harder this week. The burn was real 🔥💦
I've set a challenge to the group for us all to take part in a local running event. in September, it's been a very long time since I've ran, and it's like starting from scratch. but... after boxfit tonight I'll be staying behind to make sure I stick to my plan and get my legs moving again. It's going to be hard, but it'll be fun in the process. 🤔
I used to love running, especially by the canal, even better when you have someone with you to keep you going and take your mind off of struggling to catch your breath. but as it's just me, I need to push myself. the biggest battle as always is the one in your head... I can do it... you can't do it.. aghhhhhhhh.
I Can !
Time to get some miles in. I've got this 💪

Week 5 completed 🏃🏻♀️
Proud of myself for getting this far. 5 weeks ago I would never of thought I would of been able to run for 20 minutes! That’s nothing for some people but for me it’s a big achievement for me 😊
Roll on week 6 🙌🏻
this is so exciting for me. i haven’t been making the best food choices lately because my friends are home and they always want to go out, but i actually stopped myself from a binge a few days ago. i’m watching someone’s house while they’re on a big road trip and they said i could eat whatever they wanted (for reference they have two huge freezers and a giant pantry of not so healthy food) and after i ate a piece of broccoli stuffed chicken, all i wanted was the doritos in the cupboard and the ice cream in the freezer. but i told myself “no, you don’t need that. just feed the dog and go home and make a smoothie bowl instead” and that’s what i did. i’m not saying it’s always that easy for me let alone anyone else, but it’s a huge step in my current lifestyle. my longest streak up until this point was 14 days, and i’ve almost doubled it without realizing. 😌
Today is as good as any day to start🤘🏼 I want to be able to hike where I want, walk the streets of a foreign city, and to release my stress through sweat.
I downloaded the @activedotcom
Couch to 5k app and added the zombie as my trainer. Nervously left the house 2 hours later 😹 Walk/Jogging through the park felt wonderful..... and tiring. I got my 1.5 miles in which means I’m halfway to a 30 minute 5k 😉
I am loving the #21dayworkoutchallenge @healthyisthenewskinny
I am feel more accepting of my body and less critical of my choices 🤘🏼🤘🏼 I plan on doing this alongside my #tiuolympia
ladies doing the #summertoneup
My bud and I started Couch to 5K tonight ..... loving that he’s requesting to run with me and even asked to continue to do it on nights he doesn’t have hockey conditioning 💕🏃♀️🏃🏻♂️ #mothersontime

This girl was giving waaaay more cuddles than she normally does and was just burning up when we came home from our bike ride. Took her temp and she consistently kept reading 101 - 102 degrees so we decided to get her into urgent care. And SO thankful we did because she ended up testing positive for strep throat. 😔
The nurse we saw said there were about 5-6 other kiddos in there today who tested positive too. 😬
So we did loooots of cuddles tonight and are praying these mess kick in soon so Miss Mads can get back to feeling like her old self.
This is the first time Maddie’s ever really been sick and it is just SO sad! Heartbreaking to watch your littles be so down and out, isn’t it mommas??
Running for the views (also, towards food)
But really - just signed up for a 5K in September with @wanderlustfest
and trying to get back into running now!
Couch to 5K Week 2 Day 2 Done! It helps when you have great weather and a nice view to look at when you run 👟
She’s flying ahead of me, and I’m following her lead. What a strong and amazing girl we have ❤️
the bag is empty because i ate them 😂 they are the most delicious dollar store find for a movie, ever! swipe for the nutritional breakdown
After I finished sharing about the what. why. how. to coaching on Sunday, I’m so excited to help one of those ladies get started to inspire women herself as a coach. She has been in my accountability group for over a month now and shows up for herself and the team everyday - challenging and encouraging us to be our best. I can’t wait to see the lives she changes! THIS is one of the many reasons why I coach 😍
Latest exercise adventure, Couch to 5K! Are my times crazy slow... YES! But am I exercising vs. eating the Nutter Butters in my pantry, YES! Small victories every day, DO add up! I HATE to run, like HATE IT. If you see me running, you should probably run too because something is chasing me. My food challenge today was to resist the tortilla chips with dinner and to eat healthy Mexican food! I DID IT! Mexican food in Texas is the real deal so again, resisting these chips, was huge. Revel in the moment and enjoy every success, that’s my new mission. I also tried my new food for the day, mushrooms and bell peppers. Bell pepper, we can maybe be friends. Mushrooms, not so much. Any creative recipes to hide the mushrooms but still eat them!?

Today I did something I’ve barely done in the last two years...I ran.
Sounds funny right? But I am not a runner. When I started with Beachbody two years ago, one of my goals was to run a 5k with my big sister. After achieving my goal, and with a better time than I’d hoped for, I really haven’t run since. Because truth is, I just don’t really like running. I wish I could be one of those people who goes for a run to clear their head, but honestly I just get bored.
But when my friend and coach asked if I’d run a 5k with her this fall since she’s never done it before, I didn’t hesitate to say yes.
I may never be a runner, but it’s always good to push myself out of my comfort zone.
Today was day 1 of couch to 5k training, and it definitely went way better than when I first did it two years ago! This year’s goal is to beat my time from two years ago. So glad that Liift4 is the perfect program to accompany my training. Today was a rest day on my Liift4 calendar and the run was the perfect way to spend it!
That's week 8 of #couchto5k
smashed! Cooler weather this time, but I think I pushed myself too hard in the first half listening to Disney on Spotify 🙈 so I ended up with a bit of a stitch. But after slowing down I pushed through and completed the run. So chuffed 😊
