☀️ SUMMER SHREDDING 2018 || Day 70/90
Wednesday was one of those mornings where I was laying in bed, contemplating getting up or just rolling over but I figuered if I was already up, I might as well get up and WORKOUT! 🤷🏼♀️ But, I was running short on time so instead of an 80 Day Obsession workout, I just did a quick Focus T25 workout which was only 25 minutes! 👊🏻 Thank goodness for Beachbody On Demand! 💻 After work, the weather was windy/rainy/cold and it took a little self-talk-hype-up to get my but out the door but thankfully, I did! 🏃🏼♀️ I also had my running buddy with me and if anything, he motivates me to get out the door! 🐶
Making the CHOICE to workout and follow a schedule or plan can be TOUGH and you can bet that there will be times where you have to make sacrifices and decisions in order to stick to that plan! ✌🏻 Justin had some errands to run and I wanted to go with him BUT I also knew I needed to get my run in.
Sure, I could have gone with him but then I would get home late.
Would I really feel like running later on?
Was the weather going to be even worse?
Would it be dark?
SO, instead, I just decided to stay home and get my run done.
Those who support your journey and love you will UNDERSTAND that there may be times where you have to say "no" because of your training schedule - sometimes that's just how it is! 🤗 Do I ever miss important moments or events? Of course not! But, there have been times where I've had to choose my training over something. I'm not upset about it because my training makes me HAPPY! 🙌🏻 If something makes you happy, or brings joy to your life, you should NEVER feel bad about it! 💕 All in all, training is just another aspect of my life and even though I have to make sacrifices, every single one is worth it because at the end of the day, I know that all the training will pay off! 👊🏻
