These designs have gone LIVE all around the globe on Amazon and
Flipkart .. It gives me a great pleasure to be a part of their success story ... The whole experience was very motivating for me .. to promote this kolhapuri chappals , the craftsman and the Ngo!
All the hurdles faced was so worth it !! This entire journey was full of adventure ,travel , staying at the math , meeting some amazing and influencing people , learning new stuff , pottery , gardening , chappals , cooking , riding in local transport and the list goes on ...
This entire journey taught me alot..
The quiet rebel that had started brewing within me , just wanted to break free , from a world of rules and schedules and from the notion that life must be lived with cautions ..
I did all what i wanted to do in this trip as i was satisfied that this is exactly what i wanted to do in my life and i am so blessed and thankful that i am doing it ... and i never took it for granted .. i gave in all my hard work and dedication to this project .. to not quitting in while it rained so heavily while my trip to the village .. i couldnt stop .. while i was alone at night in the middle of the jungles.. it just gave me more and more courage to go on.. and not give up ..we always have some issues but i kept on reminding myself about my priorty when i realised everything took a backseat ...
As i was staying miles away from the workshop at the village , it took me about more than two hours to commute facilitated by shared tuk-tuk , to auto, to local bus ,then bike ride to visit the workshop ..
After my workshop i always wanted to explore the untouched place around the village which would satiate my wanderlust .. after the workshop we would hike to the top of random mountains we see and sit and chill and the only feeling which aroused me was how blessed i am to witness this peace and serenity ...!
