Had a great week at Super Hero Music Camp. We learned all about the super powers of Jesus and today we learned that His super power of love is available to us. We’re challenged to love everyone, not just our friends and to make new friends. We can use the Bible (pictured here as a balloon) to learn about Jesus (rubbing the balloon on my head) and then we can make new friends (the static gathered pepper (friends) right off a plate to many ooooohs and ahhhhhhhs). I am so tired of hearing people say that they can’t workout because they have kids. What kind of ridiculous excuse is that?! And did you see my post & video from yesterday?!
Having kids is exactly why you SHOULD be working out!! .
Recently a little girl told me that her mom couldn’t hold her anymore and moms aren’t very strong. She was 4 and you know how sad that made me?! .
NO! Children need to be held...even my 10 year old wants me to pick her up and hold her. And moms are INCREDIBLY strong. I hope my kids NEVER say that about me!! So stop using your children as excuses but instead let them fuel you!!
🏋🏼♀️Lift weights so you can pick them up, even when they’re 10 and their legs almost touch the ground when you hold them. 🏃🏼♀️Exercise so you can be the mom who plays on the playground, not sits on the bench. 🤸🏼♀️Keep going because quitting will teach your children it’s ok to quit, that taking care of yourself isn’t important. .
I’m so tired of all the excuses. Wake up earlier, go to bed later or workout while your kids sit in between your feet...whatever it takes, just make it happen. .

I posted in my story about how I was excited to hear there wasn’t cardio this morning...but that didn’t mean it was easy! My workout today had me going back to using 8lb weights because it is so much weight lifting! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
