A few weeks ago, something came into my right eye and made a tiny cut. I went to see a doctor just in case. There was nothing to worry about but the doctor did a thorough examination- towards the end, he told me that he would dilate my eyes for a further check up. He explained to me that I would have difficulty reading for a while but would be fine otherwise.
When everything was done, I left the office to a very very sunny Manhattan street- I thought I went blind! I was not familiar with dilated eye situation and the doctor forgot to warn me about the sensitivity to the sunlight. I hit my head against something and could not see much.
Fortunately, I had a big hat on me, so I managed to guide myself to a shady side of the street. I felt like going indoors for a little while to adjust to the situation-
Then, I found this little store-dark, but sort of shiny inside. It was a some kind of metaphysical store and I could sense that they sell many different kind of gemstones.
I am not especially educated about gemstones but it reminded me that someone with special insights told me to get a particular stone about a month ago.
So there I was, challenging myself finding the right stone for me. As I could not really see much, I decided to trust my instinct and emotions.
I could not even see the price very well, but thanks to the kind people at the store, I successfully completed my mission.
It was very special to see the tiny stone when my vision came back.
I think my heart did a good job. I think this stone is pretty!
This experience reminded me of many things- I felt grateful for my vision and my inner senses .
