On Sundays, we run 5k... sometimes. Thanks @lololynn1 for pushing me this morning and thanks to my mom for asking me to run this.
First time in 2 or 3 years since I ran a 5k and I wanted to prove I have gotten better. My best 5k was 34 minutes.
I wanted a sub 30 so bad! The first Mile was so slow due to he congestion of people and I ended up only able to push out a 10:30. I thought I was done. I keep pushing and didn’t check my watch until about a half mile left and I was at 26 minutes. I pushed and I didn’t stop. 29:56- I am so happy that I was able to push through and gain speed- 9:30 Mile 2 and a 9:10 Mile 3! Just a reminder! Don’t ever stop!

This week has absolutely kicked my arse. However, despite feeling a little defeated I found my silver lining in the fact I’m now in size M leggings (no XS or S any more 💪🏻) and the walk home from the gym was beautiful today.
