Prompt: bottle - the lacrymal duct.
Commonly called the tear duct, it connects tears from the lacrimal sac to the nose💧.
One of the reason our noses run when we cry is because excess tears are drained down to the nose.
It’s advisable to press on the duct when using eyedrops to avoid the medicine to go where it is not wanted or avoid tasting it 👁.
This duct is often bigger in males 😱🤓 and if obstructed, can cause an epiphora which is an overflow of tears 😭 #epiphora
I picked this based on the expression ‘to bottle it up’ often associated with keeping emotions in. Apparently the expression derives from Cockney slang where bottle is used to describe our derrieres. So to bottle up is to .. well.. keep all of our feces in to say it politely 😬😂🤓 #cockneyslang #expression
‘She bottles it up. Her feelings all wrapped up in this secret box hidden far away in the realm of her soul. She has forgotten to care for it and lately the box is warped by time. If she forgets about it, the box will rot and her feelings will overflow and escape her.’ #bottleitup #thursdaymood
