You need to constantly be asking yourself "why".... keeping yourself accountable.
There are so many people, stuck in other people's ruts, that they aren't even getting close to their full potential. Question everything you do.
Next set... what rep range? Why? What are you trying to achieve? Does that rep range work in with that goal?
Why did you stop at 12 reps? What did that set achieve? What would a few more reps to failure achieve? Should you have gone that option?
What are you about to eat? Why? What does your body need to get out of this meal.... energy? When do you need that energy? Is this the right time to eat that meal?
Everything needs a purpose, everything needs to be deliberate, and planned. If you want to use the "standard" for everything, expect "standard" results.
