I love the straw revolution going on now! I have a few reusable ones that I like to use at home and when out and about. The next step: plastic cutlery! Bringing your own for lunches, take out, or even situations like parties and picnics means that there’s less to recycle at the end of the day. Did I also mention how I can’t seem to ever eat anything without breaking at least 2 plastic forks? Now I bring my own in a roll and can effectively (and in #zerowaste
style) eat my meals. There will be some new colours coming into the online shop this week so stay tuned!

gave me my first metal straw I realised that there are small changes I can make like not taking plastic forks anytime I got fast food or forget my cutlery to work so I made myself a cutlery roll!

Just made @e.bell0812
some reusable produce bags and grocery bags out of some pj pants and singlets she was getting rid of! Seriously there is no end to the possibilities with zero waste products! And especially from clothes they’re even easier to make. I didn’t have to make the drawstring casing as it was the hem from the bottom of the pj pants, and there was no hemming required for the reusable grocery bags as the singlets are all already hemmed and overlocked! Easy peasy! The hardest part was using a sewing machine that wasn’t my own. But that’s just getting pedantic!

Working on a prototype for a new #cutleryroll #utensilroll
for the shop! This would hold child or adult-sized silverware (or bamboo utensils!), chopsticks and a reusable straw, along with a couple cloth napkins. Perfect to throw in a lunchbox, diaper bag or picnic basket!

I hope everyone’s Sunday has been as lovely as ours. A slow start to the day, out for a family lunch and a browse in my favourite bookshop. Now a quiet afternoon rest.
I have been wanting to make myself a cutlery roll for a while now so this morning I finally sat down at my sewing machine and made my first one. I know this is something that will really be useful especially when out with the children. You never know when they want a straw or need a spoon and I would much rather be prepared than cave in and grab a plastic one! @weareveganuary
This is a scrap fabric quilt/picnic rug I made for a friend. Not only do I use upcycled fabrics for the majority of my products but I also don’t want to let the scraps go to waste. I have another scrap quilt underway at the moment and will share it here in the next few days ♻️💚👌🏼😍
The pristine beauty I am trying to protect by making and using the upcycled reusable products that I feature on my #etsyshop
